Incredibly great and loud megaphone worth its price

This megaphone is perfect for any need you might need a megaphone for. The volume control for the speaker is amazing and can go from a whisper to being able to broadcast to an entire area, with your voice staying pretty clear. My 1 and only downside with this is that you cannot control the volume of the siren, only the speaker. Almost blew my ear out with that damn siren, Lol.

WORST EVER --- NEW UPDATE

WAS GREAT till it just stopped working after a 6 uses and it says cannot return lol what a joke this is NEW PROGUCT UPDATED REVIEW = I replaced the batteries with new NOTHING I replaced the batteries AGAIN WITH NEW AND IT IS WORKING JUST FINE SOOOOOOOOO I must have had a bad new battery and I would give this product a 5 star review

Megaphone does the job - just a little on the heavier side

This megaphone works but with the battery, the weight increased quite a lot. The shoulder strap really helps in bringing it around. So I really want to know how long the battery will last since the batteries themselves can get quite expensive as well

LOUD AND CLEAR !!!!

Our company purchased the Pyle Megaphone Model PMP53IN for use during fire drills, tornado drills, or emergencies of any type. It is very loud and voices come across the megaphone very clear, which is quite important during an emergency or even just an emergency drill.

does the job

Sometimes i stand in my backyard calling and calling the dogs to come in the house. I don't have to call more than once thanks to this Pyle megaphone. The siren is a fun feature to get their attention (and the neighbors-ha!) Haven't had it long enough to test the battery life. If it's poor I will definitely update my post but I don't expect it will be.

Cheaper than I'd hoped

Bought this for use on film sets and it sure does work. I'm conflicted with the stars though. The volume output is sufficient, not impressive, not a letdown, about what I expected from this price. The letdown comes from the build quality. It's not terrible, and maybe it's right on par for its price, but I hoped for better. The buttons and switches are PLASTCKY, like really plasticky. The trigger mic button is alright, but everything else is real loosy-goosy and I feel like a cheapskate handing this to the director. One big oddity is the fact that the off switch is more of a start-counting-down-to-it-actually-turning-off switch. It will turn off eventually, but the trigger button still works for about 5 minutes, not great on film sets where you have to be absolutely silent a lot of the time. This brings me to the last big problem which I don't think is exclusive to this megaphone, the siren switch. One way is the talk setting, the other way is DEAFEN EVERYONE FOR TEN SQUARE MILES setting, again, not ideal on a film set. It's basic, more so than I'd hoped, but it does its job. Really took a load off my director's shoulders having to shout at a cast of 50+ extras for 14 hours a day for a week.

I thought I was buying a new one!

This product came in a box with absolutely no shipping material on the INSIDE of the box. The megaphone was in a plastic bag, loose in the box, with nothing protecting it. It is covered in swirls of scratches like someone cleaned it up real good. It also ended up with 1 deep scratch from something piercing the box. IT HAS BEEN USED!! As far as the megaphone itself goes, it works great. I haven’t tried recording anything yet but the voice and siren are both very loud. I can’t wait to bark back at my neighbours dogs in the middle of the night.

Fantastic purchase

This was a really great purchase. It is quality, heavy and big, but works really well. The siren Is really loud and so is the volume to talk. Has been amazing to control my dogs and get people off our property.
