Saved our sanity
This is one of the best purchases we have made for our son. He is very high maintenance and would no longer stay swaddled in his Halo swaddle sacks, but he couldn't adjust to sleeping unswaddled. We purchased one original Woombie and 2 convertible woombies, and they are wonderful. He likes to bring his hands together when he sleeps, and he just moves his hands under the woombie sack however he likes, and he is very content. Its snug, but stretchy, so he isn't constricted, but he seems to feel secure. It's also way easier to zip him into the woombie than to swaddle him! I recommend this to anyone whos baby likes to bring his or her hands together when he or she sleeps. I wish we had started with this sleep sack at birth rather than swaddling. I think it would've saved us a lot of sleepless night. Also, when we received it in the mail, I was sure it would not keep his arms contained. I was certain he would get his arms out the top, under his chin. But he doesn't. It's amazing how it keeps his arms in. Only 3 or 4 times in a month or so has he gotten his arms out the top. He very rarely tries to get them out. He's very content in the woombie, unlike the Halo swaddle sack. My son is 5 months old now, and we started using these around the time when he was turning 4 months old and kept breaking out of his swaddle throughout the night. He is small for his age, around 14.5 lbs, (11 percentile for weight, 15 percentile for height) and the 14-19 lb. sack works perfectly for him. When we first purchased these, he was only 13.7 lbs and it still kept his arms inside the sack.

Sleeps 12 hours straight in this swaddle!
This swaddle has been a lifesaver!! My son (now five) never needed to be swaddled once he was over two months old. My daughter, however, has been completely different. She would only sleep if she was swaddled, but we were using the kind with the velcro and she would bust out of them with little-to-no effort, especially once we had washed them a few times and the velcro became weaker. I couldn't find any zip-up swaddle options in my local stores that were her size, but then I came across these! Thank goodness for Woombie!! The material is lightweight and breathable, the zipper doesn't cut into her neck at the top, it washes perfectly, there's plenty of room for her, and it zips from the bottom also so that you can change a diaper without having to unswaddle! One of the best features, though, is the option to free one or both arms. This is really useful when you're ready to wean baby from the swaddle. Just start with one arm free for about a week, then both arms for a week, and then no swaddle at all. I plan to purchase one of these Woombies the next time I need a baby shower gift for someone!

If It Aint Broke, Don't Fix It
My 11 week old son HATES your product. We have been using Swaddle Me swaddles since he was about 3 weeks old. When he started to out grow the 2 we had we decided to try a Woombie instead, based off of reviews and the ease of a zipper vs. having to wrap him and velcro shut. I tried it out when we first received it, he was still a few lbs too light for the size one I purchased so I figured his discomfort was from it being too big. I waited a few weeks and just tried it again, he still HATES it. There is no way to keep his arms at his sides in a Woombie. He gets his arms all bunched up and of course is absolutely uncomfortable in every way. At least with the Swaddle Me he cant moves his arms away from his sides. This product may be great gor some but if you have an extrodinarily strong baby this product is not for you. VERY disappointed in our purchase.

I bought this thinking it would be good for transitioning out of swaddle, but you aren't able to take sleeves completely off and I found that awkward and worried the buttons might be uncomfortable for baby. In the end we used the halo swaddle with Arnd out to transition baby out of swaddle

I've ordered items of 2 sizes. The sizes were smaller than the weight related to them. Take one size bigger than indicated. Now about the products effectivity, my son always screamed once put inside. So we never managed to see the magic shown in the yojtube videos...

Helps baby sleep.
I love being able to zip my daughter into this every night. It's really easy and she learned to go to sleep within minutes without rocking or feeding to sleep. Now that she can roll over, it's nice to still have the routine of zipping her into the Woombie, but now I pull her arms through the sides. She still goes to sleep very easily! (Staying asleep, however, is another story.)

Won't contain a wiggly baby
A 4 month old baby was able to bust out of the snapped armholes in no time. The plastic snaps are too easy. Bummer, I had the old version with metal snaps for my last baby and it was great.

This is a great transitional product from more restrictive swaddle to eventually arms free sleep sack. Allows you to "free" one arm at a time for a smooth, gradual transition.
