Well, it works...

It works pretty well most of the time, but occasionally the shaft binds in mid position.

Very cheap Chinese made gauge

Received this gauge about 15 min ago. Opened package and saw that it is exactly the same as a $9 gauge I already have. After measuring 4 pieces of leather, the plunger shaft started sticking badly and I had to manually pull it back up. Yes I checked the locking side screw and it was completely free. There is no way this is worth $60. More like $5, if that. My $9 one read exactly the same and the plunger has never stuck. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I’m returning it ASAP.

not the Weaver gauge

This is one of the lesser cost gauges marked in mm only, not dual marked on the gauge. Not as pictured at all. They apparently still don't get it after two other negative reviews for the same reason.

What is advertised is not what was delivered so I can't comment on the Weaver item. I would not buy this bait and switch item again as it is not the Weaver gauge.

Not the weaver gauge. It is crap Chinese product. It doesn't even say ounces on it. Returning it.
