What a crappy review!

What can I say? We're talking about a septic tank riser for goodness sake! All kidding aside. My wife and I escaped the big city and settled down in a town with a population of 267. Of course you have to work on your own septic system being that remote. I spoke with the company about their risers and components while working on our older septic system. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The closest supplier wanted twice as much or more for the parts. I simply looked everything up on Amazon and placed the order, and installed it all myself. Tuf-Tite is fantastic to work with! I highly recommend them, and their products.

Did not send the screws for attachment.

I like the product and as soon as the weather dries out, I will dig and install. I understand not sending the caulk for in-between pieces but they did not even offer to purchase the screws as an extra.

I purchased a 12” tall riser, 24” in diameter, to extend an older, clay tile riser from my septic tank. As it was 4” larger in diameter than the existing one, after placing it a few inches deeper into the ground than the top of the existing riser I poured a 2” ring of concrete around the inside gap to seal it. I spread the rest of the concrete around the outside base of the riser. I didn’t bother purchasing the bottom trim ring as the riser sits on hard, rocky soil. The flat Tuf-Tite top fits snugly on top and screws into the riser. The receiving holes on the riser could be a little wider, as I had to slowly screw the top down to make sure they hit the center of the eyelets. I only used 3 out of 6 screws. The entire setup is sturdy.

Easy to install

The Tuf-Tite Septic Tank Riser makes having to install tank risers an easy job. I've bought them for a couple of different applications and would definitely buy them again. I was disappointed that the 2 pack of risers wasn't offered as an option when I ordered this last time as the 2 pack was less expensive.
