Quality construction; far superior to the Sea Teak pole I had previously. Had to file/sand down the base end of the pole, as it didn't quite fit my 1.25" socket. Hoping to get much better longevity out of the Taylor Made product than the one I had before it.

Solid equipment

Strong product and easy to set up. No problems when I was running 30 knots.

Poor finish.

Make sure you buy a pint of spar varnish to add some coats. The finish is so thin not sure how they could have used less. The finish looks NOTHING like the picture.

Had a nasty crack line in the one side that ...

Had a nasty crack line in the one side that was patched up. I put the hooks for the flag on that side and it hides it some what. I was too lazy to send it back.

Teak Flag Pole

It is ok but feels too light to be teak. Also color is off. It feels like someone sprayed clear finish versus raw teak you can oil.
