Easy to Setup and Use with Less Jamming

I’ve used staplers at work and in school before and there was always this thought of whether I was going to use a lot of force or not. I never knew because some staplers required brute force by slamming down hard on it and others required less of it. This is a cool stapler because it’s very easy to start stapling. Press down on the black button like part on the back to reveal the stapler compartment in the front; pull that out and just place the row of staplers inside then push it in to close it shut. Now just start stapling. The cool thing about this stapler besides the easy loading of the staples is that you don’t need to apply heavy force (Use 50% less force according to the maker). The staples themselves are guaranteed to Jam a lot less; the box says Jam free guaranteed but I’m not sure. You gotta get the staples that are made specifically for this stapler in order for it to work best. Overall, great stapler and I’m sure this one will last a long time.

Best stapler I have ever used!

The stapler seems to throw the staple thru the paper. It is not sluggish. It is very positive. The stapler seems to be spring-loaded. Perhaps they all are, but this one seems to do the job immediately! I purchased one, and then purchased two more! I think that’s called saturating your home with a product. Just sayin’

Just What I Needed

I'm a Service Advisor at a dealership and we use thick paper for our repair orders so they dont fall apart if they get oil on them or get stepped on or whatever the case may be. The problem is that when you get a large job, it can be 30 sheets between the Accounting copy, Service Copy, Original Pre-work order and my regular PaperPro one touch stapler thats served me well for 2 years just wasn't cutting it anymore. Another advisor had this stapler and I ended up using when billing his customer out. It goes through everything light butter. Its easy to squeeze, and easy to handle. Its all around excellent. If you need the little extra power, this is totally worth it. Extremely Rugged and Sturdy design. Very well made with nice looking and feeling materials (Not the biggest fan of orange but its not a big deal) Replacing staples is a breeze, you may have to break like 5 off the groups of staples before putting them in Can stand vertically if needed Can be operated with one finger and has spring loaded function completely secures your pages together, Completely flattens the prongs of the staples that come through the other side, no rounding of the tips, no loosness. Hands down, my favorite stapler I've every owned. I have a stapler graveyard in an unused drawer from going through so many, I think I finally found one thats going to last! 100% Recommend!

Good stapler for many pages

I read a lot of stapler reviews. People often cited products that either didn't go through as many sheets as stated, didn't staple the back prongs flat, or jammed. This product is worth the cost. Compact. I just did 43 sheets with no problem, and the staple nice and flat on the back. Easy to use. It is as stated, happily. Would buy again. Glad someone cares enough to shepherd the design and manufacturing details and not cut corners. Quality product.

Probably the best stapler in the universe and beyond

Okay, I'm in love with this stapler! I'm a crazy person/perfectionist, so I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that I spent HOURS researching all of the different stapler options available before deciding on this one. I even researched the different model numbers offered by this company to compare all of their different options as well. And I made the right choice! This stapler isn't too big, fits nicely in my desk drawer, and feels nice in the hand. But don't be fooled - it packs a huge punch! I can easily staple together huge stacks of paper with this little guy and it's like going through butter. I didn't actually realize quite how good this stapler is until I used a family member's regular stapler the other day - and couldn't believe how difficult it was to staple just 5 pages together! It really made me fully appreciate the ease with which I can staple together whatever I want. I highly recommend this stapler to anyone, and rest assured that you're getting the best - because I've spent all those hours researching so you don't have to ;)

You will ditch full size staplers after using this one

Swingline Optima 40 is one of the best stapler I have ever used. Though it said compact stapler, considering 40-sheet capacity, I was expecting somewhat bulky and bigger stapler. When I opened the box, I was surprised with very small, compact size and lightweight but sturdy construction. I have used full size office stalkers and they required quite a bit of force to staple. But Swingline Optima 40 cuts through stack of pages very very effortlessly. You can staple 20-30 page stack by single finger. It’s smooth, Jam-free and effortless. Grip is cushioned and ergonomic. Great Design! Another feature I liked is flat clinch stapling. Which means it will staple flat and when you stack bunch of stapled piles of paper, it will lay flat neatly. I ordered it for my home office, but will take one to office where office services provides big full size staplers. After using this one, you will not like those bulky machines. I ordered it on Friday and got it on Saturday- Thanks to insanely speedy 1-day free shipping with my Prime Membership. It comes with limited lifetime warranty as well.

Does What It Says It Does

Bought this in April of 2021 because people are scary now and it's not worth being near them to use the Staoler and my local big box business store. It's tax time and all. This Stapler will likely break if you drop it. There is alot of plastic surrounding the operating core of the stapler which looks solidly steel. I bought it because it was smaller than a full size stapler and because I wanted to effortlessly staple 20 plus sheets of paper. I didn't think about it when purchasing it but it also fits into 1 hand and is easy to use off off a desk as well as on a desk with little risk that you will drop it. Put it in your drawer where it won't take up much space and it should work forever. Swingline is a very good brand overall.

So Good!

This is such a great stapler - even though it is small, it handles the work of standard-sized staplers with ease, with the benefit of not taking up a lot of room on the desk/in a drawer. Not a lot of pressure is required, and the stapler secures 25-30 pages without any problems at all. This office supply nerd definitely recommends this particular model and brand. (My previous stapler was the same brand -different model - and lasted nearly 25 years, before finally conking out forever. My new model feels like it may have the same longevity, which is awesome!)
