Solid grunt option

I bought this to use with the rebel pilots I got in the Pride of Mandalore pack. Solid stats, but not much in this box. Not a bad addition, though.

Small Separatist model

I enjoy collecting for display purposes the Star Wars X-Wing ships. I do not play the game so my review is based upon the plastic model quality. Overall this ship is smaller than I was expecting, although I should have matched it to the package style. Details were very nice and accuracy of the model ate spot on. Although it would have been nice to be slightly larger I am pleased to add it to my Separatist fleet display.

this ship is almost invincible in a 1v1

*Defeat the Republic forces* The HMP Droid gunship was on a trip to Geonosis to help evacuate troops when this alarm alerted the pilot to the presence of a Jedi fighter. The fighter suddenly popped up out of the clouds and fired a few lasers before the droid could activate the multi missile pods and repulsor-lift-stablilizers. The gunship side-sliped away from the fighter after firing a deadly salvo of missiles. The Jedi took a beating with these missiles and now had no idea where the gunship was. The gunship was, in fact to the right side of the fighter with another deadly salvo of lasers the jedi was destroyed and the gunship continued on his mission after easily defeating a jedi master. Basically what happened when this ship went toe to toe with a jedi in an aethersprite.

Bolster your Empire!

Awesome way to add a few of (in my opinion) some of the best ships in the game! Tie interceptors are great at hunting down stragglers, and the Tie defender is a monster of a ship all on its own.

Jango Fett’s Slave-1 for the win!!

This expansion pack for the X-Wing tabletop game is beautifully rendered and painted. (Most of these at local comic shops have gotten expensive. To find it on Amazon at under $30 is a steal!) Can’t wait to give it a run in a game, but until then this piece doubles nicely on display as a desktop model!

Second Edition First Order Tie/sf (Special Forces Tie)

So for those of you that play x-wing the miniatures game, you know what you're getting into with this. This is a second edition piece, so no conversion kit needed to throw it onto the table, however it has none of the cards/cardboard to play version one with it. If you're just starting out/don't have much knowledge, this is a First Order Tie/sf, so it's pretty tanky, and has a turret. The generics make great filler pieces in a list and the named pilots are also pretty solid. You might look into picking up the hotshots and aces pack, it comes with two more named pilots for this ship in particular, and open up more options. If you don't play x-wing and are looking at this as a toy/display piece, just be warned that these aren't very good toys, due to their small size/general fragility. As a display piece, they're really good looking (though potentially still pretty small depending on what you're looking for).

Love it! Great addition to X-Wing!

Received amazingly fast, though the box was pretty messed up. Shipped in an Amazon Blue and White plastic envelope, which doesn’t/didn’t provide much protection to the X-Wing Skystrike expansion box. Contents, ie; ships, card stock, stands and cards, were in excellent condition and what matters most to me, as the X-Wing box is destined for the trash and is, ultimately, unimportant. What I love the most in this expansion, is Darth Vader piloting the TIE/D Defender! Awesome!

A decent-looking model that won't likely see much play

The model is slightly underwhelming compared to the CR-90 Corellian Corvette, and it's a lot less iconic of a ship, but it still looks really cool! There's a tiny, vaguely low-resolution turret on the bottom that can rotate, but otherwise the ship has no moving parts. Regrettably these huge ships won't often see play--you can only justify their points cost in large-scale epic games--but they will still look great on display, or in an intense kitchen table battle. The C-ROC includes a variety of upgrade cards, mostly of the Scum variety, but it can also be flown as a Separatist ship.

A must have collection item

I've never played the board game, nor have anyone to play it with even if I get it, but still these are quite good for collection and displays. Have been collecting different ships and spacecraft from Star Wars board games over the years. The quality and detail on the TIE Fighter are remarkable, and the design, although feels delicate and brittle, is somewhat durable, keeping in mind that these are meant for a board game. Also to add is that First Order TIE Fighter is physically different from the Imperial TIE Fighter, so its worth it to get both for either display or playing purposes.

one of the best fighters for scum & villainy faction. similar to A-wing

this ship is currently one of the best fighters for scum and villainy faction, its fast and reasonably manoeuvrable. it looks like the other best fighter for S&V, the Fang but facing the opposite direction. i feel these are close to A-wings.
