Sat in this chair last night after a neighbor assembled it for me. (Assembly note: when it was assembled, the arms were attached incorrectly (right on left; left on right), it is an EASY to make error and easy to fix.) Anyway..., I immediately thought, "Oh, this chair is PERFECT." Now, today, actually using it to work, I still find it very comfortable. I would have liked some additional or different features. Before ordering, I'd sat in some chairs in local stores, I thought I knew what I wanted ;-) So, these are things I didn't know I needed & wanted AND/OR I didn't read the Amazon descriptions and other reviews with sharp enough eyes and a fully-engaged brain! The arms are adjustable, both in height and width from seat. A good thing :) But..., I would like the arm rests to pivot with my arms, so that when I move hands from keyboard to mouse the arm rest "comes along" with my hand & lower arm. The "padded" arm rests are molded into a fixed very firmly-padded shape, so "padded" is a relative term. In fact, it just occurred to me that, if the arms were simply padded and not molded, I might not have noticed the uncomfortable nuisance factor when moving from keyboard use to mouse use. The seat depth is not adjustable, nor is the back depth adjustable. That is kind of a big deal. I need the back to hug up to me (who doesn't need more hugs?!) and help me get into and stay in a more ergonomic, supported posture. My work-around is to lift up and move my butt further back into the chair when I become aware that my back isn't being supported. I have no problems with the fabric on the Charcoal model, but it is definitely striped. I notice someone else mentioned that about the blue mist model, so just be aware of that. When I am sitting in it, I couldn't care less if it's striped. Can't see 'em unless I'm NOT in the chair ;-) In spite of these thoughts, I still think the seat, seat padding, and back itself are exactly right.
