Great smooth flow choices but leaked in 7 months - fixed
Love the flow. Hate trying to fix it. The biggest hole on the unlabeled dial has a smooth flow that is very nice for rinsing and filling but you have to know that the progressively tighter faster stream settings are reached by turning the top of the dial to the right. It is possible to use the fireman bail with fingers of the same hand holding it. But it leaked at the barrel valve after 7 months (pressured but off the whole time) and the bail doesn't come off without destroying the flower caps on the barrel valve ends. Disassembling it from the nozzle end lets you reach the interface between the nozzle and the barrel valve and maybe tighten it up more by shaving the screw seat ledges.

Instantly impressed with this hose nozzle
It feels substantial in my hand. I do believe this will last. I've been through countless nozzles, and every season it seems I'm replacing them because of a broken handle or failed action. This nozzle feels different. Solid and smooth. I have high hopes for a multi-season-lasting water nozzle.

Fancy
Far better quality spray nozzle than I normally get. Wanted to get something that actually lasted and this is still doing well after a couple of very hot summers. It's such a good spray nozzle that it is like getting a Corvette to pick up groceries. Way more than I need, but nice to have.

I have a need for high quality hose nozzles and have recently bought several different expensive nozzles to try them out. Each has its pluses and minuses, but this one is simply the best of the best (and less expensive as well). I can only speak to the thumb operated model, the trigger model seems to have been the focus of the bad reviews. If you choose the thumb operated model, you will find it amazing. The first thing you notice is the heft, it is truly solid. The second thing is the ease and smoothness of the thumb control. The third thing that will impress is the excellently designed spray adjustment section. Fine mist or put-out-the-fire center stream, you can adjust it to fit the need quickly and easily. It might reinforce how impressed I am with this unit to add that I just placed an order for five more of them.

Avereage except for one outstanding setting
Most of the settings on this nozzle are average. It plays on the looks of the handle. However the jet setting far exceeded my expectations. It is slim, fast, even for hooked up to a kitchen sink, and reaches the top of the house. I doubt if I hooked this nozzle up to a regular faucet the nozzle would have seen much more improvement except maybe this feature due to it being a condensed stream.
