Perfect for spitty baby
I first bought these in 2015 for my son who was a spitty baby. Now he has a little sister who is also blessed with reflux, so I came back to buy more. These pads are versatile. They fir in the Arm's Reach Mini and Chicco LullaGo Anywhere bassinets I have. I use them like a mattress pad, layering a bassinet sheet over them. The cotton fabric is soft, breathable, and absorbent. They do pill in the wash, but that does not affect their functionality.

Indispensable co-sleeping / bed sharing item
We currently have 4 of these and I'm ordering another 2 pack. I co-sleep and bed share with my 5wo newborn son. These pads catch diaper leaks and leaks from breastfeeding in side laying position. We have a very expensive mattress and this little mat has protected it really well. It's also protected blankets etc on countless occasions. I wouldn't be able to keep up with the laundry if I didn't have these! The only downside is that my baby is a little firecracker and sweats a lot during the night. In the morning, the mat is saturated wet where his body is, so I swap it out for a new one each day. If there is a mess of another type, the mat goes in the washer. Our 4 mats stay in heavy rotation. Yes, the cotton has pilled slightly after many washes, but it doesn't affect the softness or function of the mat. No this mat doesn't breathe and I would prefer a 100% natural mat that did that, but I have serious doubts a wool one would protect our expensive mattress as well. Quite simply, these are indispensable. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that it isn't made of entirely natural materials.

Best baby item on my registry
I bought a cute changing pad cover from Crate and Barrel, and I prefer these pads 10x more. They never get cold, which keeps my baby cozy while I change his diaper. They are easy to wash, which makes cleaning up an accident easy. I love to put them on the floor for tummy time as well. The only downside is the fabric pills a ton. For me, that doesn’t matter as much as how functional and soft they are, but it might be a dealbreaker for some people.

Vinyl Free Waterproof Pads
Vinyl Free Waterproof Pad, November 30, 2008 I bought a set of these pads and now I'm buying another. They are just so useful. I use them under my baby (who was a premie as is now 9 weeks and 9 lbs) all the time, whether on the bed, on the couch, or anywhere else I'm worried about spitup or other accidents. I'm also going to get some bigger ones for when he grows, but I still want more in this size because they're so handy. I was looking for a waterproof pad that was not vinyl, partly because I can't stand the smell of vinyl and partly because it makes my baby sweat. These are perfect. Pros: - Waterproof - Lightly quilted, which my little guy likes, and the padding absorbs liquid really well - so well that sometimes I have to feel twice to check if it's really wet. - Easy care: I throw them in the washer and dryer, and they've been washed dozens of times already and are holding up well. Cons: - The organic flannel fabric does pill, so if you're really adverse to pilling these might drive you nuts, but for me their usefulness outweighs this con by far.

Waterproof pad but too thick
I am about to become a mom to a son, our second child. I bought this product for him because I could not find the large waterproof lap pads that Carter's used to make a few years ago, which I had bought and used every day with my daughter. This product is larger than other waterproof pads (that all seem to be tiny) but unfortunately not as large as the Carter's ones used to be. The pad is about the size of a co-sleeper's surface but does not cover entirely a contoured changing pad. And in a crib it looks rather small. It is made out of good quality cotton and looks durable. It is thick and comfy looking but the thickness has a down side: you can't fold it and stuff it in a diaper bag so easily. It takes too much space. I have not tested its waterproofing ability but from its construction I can see it will do the job very well. I bought two of these. I put one in the co-sleeper just in case there is a diaper mishap overnight and another on the changing pad. However, unfortunately it looks like the pads won't be portable for daily use outside the home.

Soft and fluffy; looks a little ratty
This is very soft and fluffy; it is actually puffy coming out of the dryer. The size is a good fit for regular changing pads, or the ones on a pack & play which is where I'm using mine. But it pilled the first time I washed it, and the seams around the edges are not finished in a very elegant manner. It has been washed once and looks like it's a year old. So it is a bit "homey" in appearance, which is not the end of the world. I like it and will continue to use it, but I prefer theKushies Deluxe Change Pad, Cream Polka Dots which has a much more polished look. It's not organic though, so if that's important to you and you don't mind it looking more worn than it really is, then this product is great.

Works great for a few things, can't really travel with it
I use these on the diaper changing pad, instead of other covers. Works great and is cushy feeling. Only complaints I have are that they were slightly smaller than I expected, and puffier than I expected. Meaning I can't really use these under sheets on her bed, or in the pack n plays, nor can I travel with them. However, I can just use the other waterproof pads I have for that stuff and use these exclusively for the changing spaces-- so no big deal. Just be aware of what you're buying. One additional comment, and this may just be my EBF baby and my washer/well water, but for some reason all the 'organic' cotton items we have stain a lot easier than the non-organic ones. Go figure.
