Good replacement for my discontinued unit

My old one had gotten to where the buttons could not be pressed hard enough to take effect. Very glad I found this perfect replacement. The connections from the receiver to my igniter unit are very simple and standardized. The remote is easy to read, intuitive, and the buttons work as expected. Much better than my old one. I have not tried the timer function.

Modern and easy fireplace switch

Saw this switch at a nice hotel and decided it would make a good replacement for the lousy one that I had. Installed this switch in minutes and it works (and looks) great.

Worked well

Replaced the old half-melted system and it worked as promised. Gave four stars because it was easier to sync the original remote control than the one that came with the system

Great customer suppor!

I bought this as a replacement for the same unit but an older model. I had trouble syncing the remote and called the company. The support person was very patient and resolve. My issue in a few minutes. Unit works great now.

Easily Installed, works

Product was properly packaged and included batteries. This was a replacement for a 20-year old Skytech remote for a fireplace. Installed provided batteries into receiver and remote. Checked remote by observing remote light in both on/off functions. Removed existing remote and connected new receiver. Fireplace had not operated for over a year so the manual Skytech testing function had some difficulty in igniting fireplace. Issue was likely with gas valve and not Skytech. Pairing, receiver communicating to remote, required using the Learn function on the receiver and the process was straight forward: press learn button with toothpick and get one beep for clearing current code, press remote, and then multiple beeps from receiver when paired. Fireplace now works reliably with new Skytech product. Total installation time about 5-10 minutes. Instructions are clear. Would recommend. $70 was best price alternative and fit my needs.
