Does what it's supposed to do.

Lost my other one in a foot of snow while it was attached (not very well, apparently) to the other end of the 24-foot pole I was using to shake off snow and ice from tree limbs. This replacement is identical to my original (as far as I can tell) and is all plastic. It is a pretty durable plastic but has its limits and the user needs to use common sense. Comments about how hard it is to adjust are mostly variable depending on how the user is using it, the strength of the user, the sense of physics possessed by the user, and the overall long term use/wear of the item itself.

Flimsy

Even with flat handled paintbrushes the grasp isnt tooled right or poor quality plastic

Just what you need

Don't bother with the more expensive ones, this little gadget did the trick. I had to paint the corners of our entryway, which is probably a good 15-20 feet. Of course, I couldn't get a big enough ladder into the house to get to the corners a roller brush can't reach. Figuring there had to be something out there, I dug around a little. There was a much more expensive gadget, and I really didn't want to pay that much. Then I saw this. It swivels into three different positions, the brush stayed steady inside the gadget, and it fit on a the same 20 foot pole I used to paint the ceilings and walls. And while I can't say I did the best job, the gadget did exactly what it was supposed to do. Best money I spent on the entire panting project.

Worked fine

I used it to touchup some exterior areas that weren't worth getting the ladder out for. Much easier than struggling with a ladder. For accuracy where two colors come together that would be tough. The longer you need to extend the poll the harder it is to control the location. But I'm glad I bought it!

Nice design but the positioning mechanism is weak.

It seem to not hold the brush in the position I needed. When reaching to begin painting, the brush would click out of the position I needed. I gave up after awhile and dragged out the ladder.

Perfect for painting hard to reach areas

This was the perfect, affordable solution to painting ceiling edges and tall bathroom walls obstructed by fixtures (where ladders won’t fit). It arrived the next day and was easy to thread onto my extension pole. You can tightly secure and adjust the angle of your brush. Consider practicing on a lower section.

This is a very clever device that keeps you on the ground while doing touch up. No ladder means safer

wish I had found this sooner. I can reach upper corners/trim without a ladder.
