Hard to find brown calk like this in stores

Fixed sunroof

I used this to fix a leaking sunroof. Spent hours and hours researching and got so many mixed opinions I just pulled the trigger on this. Now after six months it’s still perfect. Hopefully it will hold up over the years, I will try and update the review if it fails. I spent a long time taping off the area. Then I put silicone all around the sealing surfaces, both the rubber seal in the glass and the metal, with the sunroof open. Then after shutting it I put a bead over the seam, to catch any missed spots. Spreads out pretty easy with a finger but gloves are a must, very sticky. Then I just cleaned off excess flat with the roof with a paper towel before removing tape.

Could not find brown silicone in any local store so I ordered it .

Needed this color to seal up the metal cap on our chimney. Which I painted brown to match the turbine fans and vent pipes on the roof. My chimney was needing repair before the hail storm that damaged the shingles. So after a new roof was installed, l rebuilt the chimney box and repainted the metal cap. Then caulked all seams with this product .

Looks like silicone rather than rtv

Seemed a little funky looking coming out of the tube. But it dried decent . Looks more like straight silicone than the usual rtv. Let's see how it holds up.

Expensive for a small job

This grey colored caulk was difficult to find so bought it online. However, it was quite expensive for average caulk, and since I only needed it for a small job, most of it was wasted.

It's silicone RTV

Easy peasy. Sets up in about 1 hour. I used it to set up and bed artificial wood pieces in an existing deck under structure. It filled all the crevices that would have turned to Ice in the winter and broken the joints. Easy clean up. Recommended.

Excellent for repair RV window leaks.

Red Devil 100% RTV Silicone firmed up quickly (very close to the 30 minutes stated on package), was easy to apply evenly and smooth where I got a little sloppy, did not have the strong odor of other silicone caulks, and was able to apply in colder weather, even in rain (though I waited until I had at least one day of clear weather). I will definitely purchase again.

Very dense

Warning! I'm an idiot, it's not Paintable, that's on me cause sometimes I don't read good! And I may save another schmuck like myself down the road! Only complaint is the gel was really dense and difficult to get out of the tube. May have been a one off, but my finance was barely able to use it so perhaps look elsewhere if you have tiny hands ????
