It works well but the platform isn't what I sould call "Oversized"

The scale does what it's supposed to do. I purchased it because you can weigh up to 12 pounds rather than the 6-pound limit of my "WW" scale and it truly is easy to clean. I also like that it can measure fluid ounces AND dry ounces. However, I wish I had read the description better. The heading called the platform "oversized". The size is adequate at 6 inches, but if you put a dinner plate on the scale it is very difficult bordering on impossible to read the weights. My "WW" scale had a larger, higher platform so it was easy to read weight of items on dinner plates. I'm usually cooking for two. so will make a casserole recipe and split it into two separate dishes - one for cooking, one to freeze. Having two scales make it easy to put two smaller casserole dishes out - 1 on each scale to evenly divide the recipe. I got this scale at a reduced price on a holiday promotion so will keep it.

Works as advertised

This is a very compact unit that sits on our kitchen counter without taking a lot of space. I bought it to measure food portions since I am a newly minted diabetic. It works quickly. It is easy to change weights from oz to grams. Very easy to set it for a tare wait. I highly recommend it.

Dinner plate obscures display

If you are looking for a scale to help you with daily calorie counting, the Ozeri ZK011 Precision Pro Stainless-Steel Digital Kitchen Scale may or may not be the one for you. The tare feature is potentially very useful if you need to weigh each item of food as you serve it directly onto a plate already placed on your scale, as I do. However, the weighing platform, although described as 'over-sized', is still small and a dinner-sized plate completes obscures the display. In fact, as you can see from the picture, it obscures the whole scale! This scale is perhaps better for weighing individual food items, or for use with bowls for baking. I am returning mine and have already bought an EatSmart ESKS-10 Precision Elite Scale as a replacement. It is larger, but still slim enough to fit in a drawer.

Good Value

Seems to be accurate and consistent with just occasional dithering of 1 gram. Feels solidly made, reasonable time-out (2 mins) and it can be turned off (i.e. you don't have to wait for the time out). I'd be happier if it didn't require coin cells. And a removable platform would make for easier cleaning. But overall, I prefer this to the Oxo, especially considering the price.

Wish the unit of measure was bigger for my old eyes
