Great Product-- Here are some tips!

I really loved this product. It was easy to understand and to read (the numbers are tiny, yes, but that's kind of the point). The canvas is hard which is a huge step above other kits--if you check reviews many of them are flimsy folded canvas that never quite straightens out. I do have a few tips though: Get some empty paint pots, because you'll be doing some paint mixing and it's really nice to save the mix in a little pot because inevitably you will find a spot you missed. It might be cheaper to buy a really junky kid's craft that comes with paint and wash out those little pots than to buy empty pots. I'd also recommend some sort of little sticker so you can write on the number of the mix. The paintbrush this set comes with is useable but I wanted something even a touch finer--it definitely wouldn't hurt to pick up some fine point brushes at a craft store. I actually used a couple I had at home, it was nice to switch off (one to mix paints, another to do the painting). I also noticed the painting doesn't quite fit in the frame I bought and I'll have to cut it down just a tiny bit to make it fit. That may be due to the frame I bought and not the painting...but be sure to keep the receipt for your frame in case you make the same mistake I did! :) I really enjoyed this project, although my hands did not enjoy it as much. It took me many more hours than I thought it would (I'm slow and watched Netflix at the same time). I will now be buying some wrist braces too!

Love it!! Great result!!

My 1st painting from Dimension and I love how it turned out, like a real painting!! Love how detailed it is to create a real painting result! The only thing that I think could be improved is the quality of the paint. The paint is fluid and flowy but it lacks consistency (blotchy with some dark and light areas that wouldn’t cover well, even with 2-3 layers), weak opacity for light colors (light blue, cream, white, light yellow) even with 5x layering. Overall besides the quality of the paint, I love the outcome!! I would say this is close to advance level due to many small details and straight line of the sign and windows to achieve. Just purchase few more and on to my 2nd Dimension paint by numbers!! :) Please come out more designs, very limited in paint by numbers out on the market.

Finished painting looks just like the depicted picture

This took me quite a long time to finish and in the end I admit I was running out of patience since there were so many small bits to fill in, but it looked beautiful in the end. I hated mixing the colors so I substituted a lot for just any green which worked because a lot of the mixed colors were just used to paint bushes/trees/leaves so you can use anything colorful. Overall, the painting definitely took longer than I expected, but I think it was worth the wait.

Beautiful painting and good quality paints

Beautiful painting and good quality paints. Ordered a couple paintings from them and love them all. Only complaint is that this specific one came to me turned the wrong way in the box because it had 2 sticky white pieces I had to rip off which took some of the painting with it :( . I guess they were supposed to be on the back so the painting doesn't slide around in the mail but they put it on the front by accident I presume. Kind of a bummer. Would buy from them again though. Good prices.

Great if on sale.

It’s alright, a bit pricey for just a paint by number on canvas board. The colours are quite nice. Takes a few layers to build up the lighter colours.
