Great glove

Bought this for my 7 year old entering coach pitch. Quality leather for the price. Doesn't have the cheap feel of the similar Wilson A500 which I also considered. Light weight and easy to handle for my son as he continues to develop his basic baseball skills before moving on to a better quality glove. Pretty much game ready as is. Played catch with it for the first time and he had no problems with it.

Cheaply made for a marucci

Seems like a good glove, except for the areas that aren’t leather. My sons started cracking and peeling within 2 days of playing catch w it. I would go with another glove for the price.

Great high-end starter glove

This is a great glove for a 7-9 year old. It is a good bridge between a T-ball glove and baseball. This glove is better than most of the low-end entry baseball gloves because it takes very little break-in. It is very soft as it comes and after 30 min of pounding it with a baseball is ready to go. Also, the little notch in the palm is great to help little hands close on the ball. Finally, the glove is thin enough to give the kid a good feel for the ball. Lots of youth gloves are big and bulky and the kid sometimes doesn't know where the ball is in the glove. This glove provides a lot of feedback and helps the young player know where the ball is in the glove.
