Very pleased

This has been great at engaging my son who is on the spectrum. Does a good job showing how to write the letters correctly. Only downfall is that you have to have the sound on to use.

Excellent educational toy. My 3-yr old practically knows all the ABC's, their appearances, and their sounds from this toy. Every home with toddlers and kids should have this toy!

Great for my 3 year old!

I’m always looking for new educational toys for my 3 year old daughter and this is a great addition! It has a lot of different options such as letters and drawing fun. Only thing I would change is how the pencil is put in. It’s very hard for my daughter to put it in and out so maybe a magnet would work better, but other than that it’s a great toy!

Good but with flaws

I love the brand Leap Frog in general and their products, especially the talking Violet plush. I bought this toy for my 2.5-old daughter who already knows the letters and numbers to 20 but has interest in writing them. She is surprisingly entertained and is making progress with tracing. I only wish 1) the screen was bigger and brighter and 2) the tracing was easier to do by kids - instead of doing "g" in one move, they should have separated it in 2, etc.

3yr old loves it

I bought it as a gift for a 3yr old and he loves it. It took a few minutes for him to figure it out but once he got it he was tracing all of the stuff easily. My only complaint is it's hard to see the screen I wish it had some back lighting or something because once he leans over to trace it becomes difficult to see the screen

Love this!

My 4 year old loves this, she uses it just about everyday, she is in pre-k so she feels like a big girl because she can answer the majority of the questions in the games and recognizes the letters. Really glad I got it for her.

Great concept, tiny screen

I bought this together with a similar model from a different brand. This arrived first and my 4 year old liked it for a couple of days, that is until the other toy came in the mail. The screen is too small and the contrast not great so unless you’re in a brightly-lit room, it’s hard to make out what’s on the screen. Still, the concept is great - just improve the screen.

Fast & good

It’s comes in a leap frog carton box which makes wrapping very easy. the process of taking out the toy and play can also be easily managed by the kid with no cable ties to cut.however, if u r looking at the nice colourful packaging that you see at the shops, then this is not for you. The device worked well.

Would be better if there is backlight as can be quite dark in non lit areas
