Simply Adorable!!

I bought this romper for my son who is 10 weeks old for his upcoming baptism. He is 15lbs, and about 23". He is definitely a big boy, in the 95th percentile for height and weight for his age. Even though he is only a little over 2 months he typically wears 3-6 month clothing right now which is many times even a little snug. However, in this particular garment he needed the 0-3 month size which is still a little big, but I rather have it a title big than too small. The weight guidelines on amazon are totally off on this one so you can't rely on the general info, go off the reviews to determine what size you need. The outfit is adorable if you are looking for a simple/classic look, but beware that it runs very big. The fabric is a nice thick cotton with a light sheen to it, I know he will look adorable in it for his baptism!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! LOVED THIS OUTFIT!!

This outfit was adorable!! I wanted something lightweight and summery for my son's baptism. I was finding mostly shiny satin outfits online so this one was perfect!! It was very tasteful and not too flashy. I was hesitant to get the size recommended (my son is 5 months old and still wearing 3/3-6 month outfits) but I followed the sizing chart and ordered the 6-9 month size. It fit him perfectly. We didn't use the hat but we ordered a bib separately to keep any baby stains away.. I really wish he could wear this to another event...it's such a shame that it was only for one day! I highly recommend!

Nice product, but sizing is off and may be a problem to return!

I liked this outfit for my son's baptism as it's a simple, classic style without too much decoration and looking too shiny (many of the outfits were satin...) I was already given a baptismal cap, so I won't be using the one that came with the outfit, but it looks cute anyway. However, there REALLY needs to be a size chart SPECIFIC to this item, as according to the general one for baby clothing from Amazon, it should be a PERFECT fit. IT IS NOT. Way too wide and long. I ordered the size that corresponded to my son't measurements despite the one review that said it ran big as I still have another month before my son's baptism and I thought he most likely would grow enough. The 6-9 month size really looks to be for 12 months. ALSO, it arrived without a receipt in the box, so now I am worried about trying to return it if it IS too big. :-(

Lightweight

Blessed my 6th baby on the beach it was over 90 degrees and he was not hot. Cotton fabric was gentle on baby's skin... would recommend

Beautiful, but wrinkles easily & just fit a chunky baby!

This baptism outfit arrived promptly. The cotton fabric is nice and heavy with a slight sheen, but it wrinkles easily - transport on a hanger! The 6 month size just fit the chunky 3-month-old it was ordered for. (The cuffs on the pants did fit around his chubby baby legs, but with little room to spare! If ordering for a roly-poly baby, you may want to order a size up!)

Cute but runs slightly big

We ended up returning these as they were slightly too large for our twins otherwise we would have kept them as they were super cute on them! They are also slightly see through as some other reviews mentioned so you may want to have a white onesie to wear under it. For reference he weighs 9 1/2 lbs in the photo.

Super cute!

After looking at a dozens of baptism outfits I finally decided on this one because it was simple, made of cotton and light weight. I had my son wear a white onesie underneath and it looked absolutely adorable on him. The hat didn't fit too well but we didn't really have him wear. The only thing is that during the ceremony they ask to see the baby's chest and it was a bit difficult to get at in this outfit but maybe a more experience parent or priest has a better solution.

Good product for the price - but watch the price!

In full disclosure, I paid around $28-29 for this outfit. I ordered the 9-12 months size. My son is 5 months old and is in the 90-100th percentile for height and weight. It fit him just fine. I say watch the price because I would not have wanted to pay more than what I did for the quality of this garment. I see this item is now in the $50-range. That's too much! The quality just isn't there for that price. Get it for under $30, or pass!
