Great Hanging Rack

What I really like about this hanging pot rack is doesn't hang low from the ceiling. It's very convenient for hanging my frying pans and saving cabinet space.

Great pot rack made in America

I gotta give it a 5 stars because of the relatively reasonable price and being hand made in the USA (you could easily pay the same or more for Chinese stuff). Enclume definitely deserves to be a top contender for anyone looking for American made home accessories. PROS: o Hammered steel construction and the classic, hand-made look that goes along with it o Grid design makes it extremely versatile. They give you 12 hooks, and it's totally reasonable to think you can hang an entire cookware collection, including large, deep items if you're clever about it o "Toggler" brand drywall anchors are included, which are both new to me and amazing o This really is designed for low ceilings. I'm 5'8" and I clear my longest saute pan by about 4". If you mount this rack cleverly and out of the way, I'm pretty sure even someone who's 6'2" wouldn't be bothered by it. CONS: o The mounting points are way less than 16" on center. You cannot directly mount this rack perpendicular to 16" ceiling joists. What I did was position the rack diagonally so I could just barely sink a couple 3" lag bolts into wood at an angle (the distance diagonally between the mounting brackets is about 15"). I used the Toggler anchors for the other two mounting arms. A chimpanzee on crack could hang from it without issue. The Toggler anchors work so well that I would confident saying you can pretty much mount the unit with 4 anchors wherever you want. That said, it's just silly to manufacture a product with mounting holes that aren't 16" on center. o I don't really consider this to be a problem, but it might bother some people. The grid rests loosely on right angle hooks that attach to the frame. It will never, ever bend or fall. But it does move around a little and may seem "insecure" to someone who isn't mechanically inclined or educated in the laws of physics. ;-) I'm extremely happy with my purchase. It's a great example of an American made product that is attractive, durable, designed well and not astronomically priced.

Nice rack! Toggle snap bolts are janky

It's a great pot rack. To make it easier I traced the form on enclosed paper and marked the bolts to make it easier to mark the spots on the ceiling (see picture). The snap bolts are not reliable and I had to go to my hardware store to get a couple of extra ones because they snap easily and sometimes the collar doesn't align with the anchor (this will make sense when you see it). Assembly was easy, the rack is rock solid. Good purchase overall for a small kitchen.

Sturdy and Made in America

Beautiful steel pots and pans rack attaches close to the ceiling; Perfect over our island, pans don't hit our heads at all. It is so well made and that's hard to find in an item these days. We all love it. Makes our kitchen look professional.

Be sure to use the right attaching hardware

This is a heavy and sturdy pot rack, ideal for low ceilings. Mounting was a challenge because my joists were too far apart to accommodate drilling into them. I had to use the toggle bolts recommended- DO NOT DO THIS! Go to Lowe’s and get 1/4” x 3” metal toggle bolts and you will be much happier and more secure in the installation. Using 3/16” and the kit recommended did not work well for this customer. You will also need an extra set of hands to mark the drill holes and to secure the rack.
