So glad we found this before winter!

This is exactly what we needed to cover our patio swing. The material seems to be very durable, the product seems to be well made, and it was thoughtfully designed so you can anchor it to the swing to keep it from blowing away. Proof of that is that we had wind that was strong enough to MOVE THE SWING a foot, but the cover stayed on! Very reasonably priced, and we will be getting more patio furniture covers from this company next year. I'd give 5 stars all around except that we've only had this for a month,

Tweaked one little problem and now it works perfectly!

A lot of people have been commenting on the size but on my three-person swing it covers right to the bottom of the seat which is perfect. Last night we had a bad storm and when I went to check on it this morning the whole cushion on the inside was wet. I even stored two of my lounge chair pillows inside and they were wet as well. When I looked on top of the swing canopy, which is flat, I noticed that water had pooled on top of it and it was seeping through. This cover is beautiful and heavy but it is not waterproof. It is water resistant. What I had to do was put a ball on top of the canopy, under the cover, so that the cover peaks and the water rolls off. Even like that the water pools on the sides so I adjusted the canopy so that it is almost vertical so that the water slides right off. Putting the cover on is definitely a two person job but I love that the zipper in the front allows you to use the swing while the cover is on. The beige and tan color matches everything in my backyard perfectly so I ordered these covers for my lounge chairs as well. We just had another major rainstorm and I went to check and everything is bone dry. Adjusting the canopy and putting the ball under the cover helped create a peek so that the water runs right off. I look forward to having these covers for a very long time!

3-year warranty is worthless

UPDATE May 11, 2014 Our cover cracked in a few places and faded over the winter months. That didn't bother us much. However, tonight a storm kicked up while we were away from home. When we returned, I happened to look out on the patio and our swing - with cover attached and secured - had blown over, off the patio. When we got the swing back upright, there was a huge horizontal rip in the top of the cover and a few holes in other areas. I pulled out the warranty paper, which states it has a 3-year limited warranty. The operative word is 'limited'. The restrictions are as follows: "This warranty covers normal consumer usage. It does not cover damage that occurs during shipping or damage that results from improper installation, improper maintenance, alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, vandalism, neglect or exposure to petroleum products or caustic chemicals." So I'd like to know what this warranty DOES cover! I'd really be upset had it been damaged in shipping and was ripped/torn from the start. My original review is below. I originally gave them 5 stars. I am now giving them only 3, though I'd rather rate them about 2.5. Considering our experience with this product, I would *not* purchase from Classic Accessories again. Very disappointed. We purchased this cover in June 2013 for our Mainstays Green Leaf Outdoor Swing mainly because we do not have room to move the swing to the garage during the winter months and we wanted to be able to protect the swing somewhat from the snow and wet weather. As soon as we received the cover, my husband and I put it on the swing and it fits perfectly. It definitely requires two people to put the cover on the swing as the fabric is very heavy and awkward to handle by oneself. The cover appears very well made and worth the current price listed ($67.98).

Protection from Monsoon Rains

I bought this cover in early May of 2018. I live in southern Arizona and the cover easily survived our heavy monsoon rains while it protected a two-person swing in the Zen garden. The cover was shredded and decimated by a horrible hailstorm on October 23rd. We had golf-ball sized hail that also destroyed the roof and gutters. I give this product five stars (and I'm buying another one) for two reasons: 1. It did extremely well in the monsoon season; it was entirely intact until a week ago. 2. Although the hail destroyed the cover, it saved the patio swing. The cloth swing top is completely undamaged, as are the seats and all the rest of the cloth and metal parts. The cover acted as a sacrificial anode for the swing. I keep the zipper in the front. As other reviewers have noted, this cover weighs a lot, but that's what makes it sturdy and useful. I leave the cover on, unzip the front, and tie back the corners with paracord that I leave permanently attached to the plastic snaps at the bottom of the zipper. It's perfect. I couldn't be happier with this dependable and very sturdy swing cover.

Okay Canopy cover, but does not last very long...

The fitting for my Swing was almost perfect. I have a 2-seater swing, though it can fit the occasional child as well. Only the legs of the swing are exposed as the picture depicts. However ,after a year of ownership with this cover, I am sad to say that it didn't survive the calm and pleasant weather here in Sunny California... It did look good while it lasted. The bottom portion of the canopy cover ripped from the seams where the clasps on all 4 corners attach to your swing. The top left and right apex now have holes now exposing the swing's corners. I need something that's more durable. Something that'll last me more than a year... UPDATE: I've added an additional star to this review because of the customer service. I sent the company photos of the torn cover and they sent me a brand new one! Fortunately I was still under warranty.

Outdoor patio canopy swing cover

While the description claimed that this outdoor cover was for a 2 seater swing, it was designed for a 3 seater swing and is a very large fit for ours, so we had to tie a plastic cord across to hold it in place and prevent wind from lifting the whole thing. The reception of the item was timely and in good condition and the quality of the fabric is very good. Since we have only had it for 2 weeks, it is premature to say how it will hold up over time. As for price, we found it OK and maybe a tad high but you get what you pay for as a rule, right!

Does exactly what it says

The only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is because I find it difficult to put on or take off my verandah swing without help. Being a short person, the amount of lifting and stretching is as good as a workout. Otherwise this does exactly what it says. It is waterproof, and covers all but the bottom of the legs. It ties on to stop it from blowing away. Have not tried it through a Canadian winter yet but if other reviews are to be believed, it will perform well then too.
