Cute but pretty simple.

It's fun but pretty simple when it comes to opening it and playing with it. If you just want kinetic sand to play with then great but you can probably get that cheaper somewhere else. This is fun in that you have your little shovel/crowbar that opens the little box up, you dig (just pull apart) the sand for the little plastic dinosaur bones and place them altogether for a tiny dinosaur model. There's also a tiny dinosaur foot mold. It's cute but again very minimal. Nice thing about this pack is comes with three different dinosaurs (triceratops, stegosaurus and a T-Rex) so fun for dino lovers out there ❤️

son liked and its fun to dig for Dinos - container is not very portable and doesnt stay closed as well as I woudl like in travel bag though

Great Gift for a Dino Lover

Fun gift for a Dino Lover. Bought it for my nephew and he loved it. He enjoyed digging for fossils and playing with it all.

Nephew spent hours playing

Lots of fun but smaller than I expects.

This review is for the 3 pack crates with kinetic sand and fossils to dig. They are cute and the kids had a lot of fun with them. They were smaller than I’d expected, but that was my own fault for not fully reading the description. I would buy them again.

Missing pieces. But overall ok

Bought as a Christmas gift gift my kid. She loves kinetic sand. The crates are fragile and don’t look like they’ll hold up long even if it says re-useable. Also missing a “treasure” piece. There is conflicting info above on if you’re supposed to get three or four treasure pieces but in the box (I was lucky enough to receive the box) there was a paper diagram of assembly that shows 4 “amber” pieces. A footprint A “fin” or “scale” A claw A round piece with an embossing pattern (looks like an eye) We did not get the fin/scale piece but we’re lucky enough to have all the bones. My daughter spent a LONG time looking for the missing piece shown and was pretty bummed that she didn’t have all four treasure pieces. She still likes the sand. It would have been good though had the sand in the crates been bagged and not trust the crate. I know the crates came covered in plastic but when you open it there’s a chance the whole thing will spring open firing sand all over hells half acre.

Definitely supervise and put down the play mats.

My nephews loved it but made a total mess with the sand but easy enough to clean and pack back up for another day. Would definitely keep these out of reach and for occasions so you can both sit down and play. Its really easy for the kids to play and they loved opening them up and digging out the sand. Had them since Christmas and they are still asking to play with them when I am over so it was a great buy.
