Snug fit -- don't give up!

These are essential for wheelchair safety. Although my husband struggled to install these on my new Karman Ergo-Lite 2512, I found that wiggling and slightly rotating the anti-tippers enabled me to insert them properly. It is a snug fit for sure -- don't expect that they will slide in with only a push -- but I had them installed in a few seconds using a slight back and forth rotation along with the push.

we have to adjust them pretty often. One of them in particular was difficult ...

My husband loves his Karman chair, but we have had a minor issue with these anti tippers. They are a little hard to adjust from the down to up position and back again. Because we go in and out of the house on a fairly steep ramp, we have to adjust them pretty often. One of them in particular was difficult to move and got stuck in one position or the other. We had to sand it down a little and it now moves a little better. Otherwise, the anti tippers work as they should.

problem with the item

Although it is the correct anti-tipper for the ergo-flight and it is a Karman product, it was a disaster. I was able install one of the tippers. But when I tried to install the other, there was no way to insert the tipper into the wheel chair. So I decided to remove the first one only to discover it had jammed. 15 sweaty, frustrating minutes later I was finally able to remove it with the help of a needle-nose pliers. I've alerted Amazon and obtained a refund and then called Karman Healthcare to alert them about the problem. Perhaps I just received a defective item but my advice is, that if you decide to try them, if they don't slide in easily, return them.

Easy to install

Very easy to install. Essentially took seconds. Make sure you are ordering for the right model.

Necessary!

I didn't order these anti tippers when I ordered the wheelchair, so I used the chair a few days without them. I quickly realized that anti tippers are a MUST for safety.

Perfect fit

Allows needed tilt, but firm stop when needed. Slide in/out with button lock
