Nice light

This light gives the appearance of being a recessed light without having to be recessed. It does, however, have some depth, so if you are looking to the recessed or flat look, this is not the fixture to get. The nice thing is that it does approximate that look as closely as a surface-mounted light can. This is good for wet locations, so a bathroom is really where I think it would look best. If you want to dim it, you will have to get a switch that specifically dims LED lighting, otherwise flickering can occur. The lighting is LED no matter how you slice it, which in my opinion is always more along the color of fluorescent lighting than halogen or incandescent, so a dimmer really is worth installing.

Great Hallway/ Closet Light

I recently installed Juno Slim Tapered Downlights throughout my home and I couldn't be happier! They provide a nice warm light that fills the room and gives a modern yet cozy feel. The installation was fairly simple and I was able to do it myself in no time. The trim is slim and sleek, which looks great in my home. The dimming functionality is also great, allowing me to adjust the light to the perfect level for any given room. I'm very pleased with these lights and would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their lighting.

Low profile bright light and a fairly easy installation except for getting the lens back in place

Notice: This product was received at no charge as part of the Amazon Vine program but this is an unbiased review. This fixture was used to replace and really ugly hanging light my the front entry way. The installation was straightforward and anyone with a little electrical know-how, a few tools, and a ladder can manage. It is light weight, so it's easy to hold in position while you connect the wires and fasten it in place. Once the light was installed, it is a nice addition to my entry way. The light is very bright and it has a pleasing warm glow. The light isn't harsh at all. The information states you can dim it if you have a dimmer on your connection. It is rated to last 50,000 hours and it is very low voltage, so it will give you years of uninterrupted use at a low cost. To attach the fixture to the ceiling, you remove the lens by turning it so the tabs release (see the pictures attached to this review). Once the lens is off, you thread the fasteners though the base and screw them into the screw holes on the electric junction box. There are two tabs on the lens which fit in the slots on the base to hold the lens in place, there is also a sticky gasket that helps seal and hold the lens (the tabs are shown in the picture with the screwdriver pointing one out). This is where I had a problem. There are no purchase points on the outside of lens itself and the sticky gasket makes turning the lens very difficult to get the two tabs to lock in place. I'm not certain that I did get it locked with the tabs and it might be the sticky gasket is holding the lens where it belongs on the fixture base. We will see if I wake up some morning with the lens fallen off proving it wasn't locked in place. If they had two inconspicuous little purchase points on the outside of the lens, it would make it much easier to twist into place. Maybe the manufacturer will consider this in the future. Other than that, it's a nice looking light, with a bright bulb with a pleasing warm light at a reasonable price. This will definitely be on my list if I need more light fixtures.

Great for the hallway

The media could not be loaded. We use this product in our hallway outside of our bedrooms and bathroom. I really like that it is dimmable so it is not harsh on your eyes during night time, but it is also bright enough for when I'm really looking for something. This does need to be used with a dimmer switch. This light seems like it will last a long time.

Nice light

This is a nice light. I did not know it had to be installed instead of plugged in, but it works well when installed and wired in. I would recommend it.

Works great but doesn't sit flush against the ceiling

The light was easy to install and the installation is pretty straightforward forward even for someone that has never changed out a light fixture before. My only complaint is that it doesn't sit flush with the ceiling so there is a pretty noticeable gap between the light and the ceiling where light bleeds through when it is on. I would have liked it if they included some type of foam gasket with double-sided tape to hold it on the light for cases like this. I'll probably end up making something myself to seal up the gap.
