Best fish tape

We use fish tapes for pulling wire, hose and a variety of other things through pipe and conduit. Fiberglass is by far and away the best. It is non-conductive and more flexible than steel. Don't confuse it with the units sold at Home Depot. They look the same, but the tape is not fiberglass, it is plastic, so it's not nearly as strong and doesn't last as long.

Never buy from this selker.

Just used mine for the first time and about twenty five feet out found a flaw. Not sure how it happened and does not seem to affect its performance. Have never seen this in any of the other ones I own. Used again this week and found another flaw. Also found that it is hard to roll up. Put it in truck and used the old one. Sorry to say I am really disappointed in this tape. Tried contacting the seller about this and never received a reply. Ideal makes a good tape but will never buy from this seller again. No service not even a follow up on complaints.

Nice low-effort mechanism, fantastic line.

The mechanism is much better than other wheels I have used. While it still takes some effort to rotate it, it is still much better. The line itself is strong and super slick. I pushed it 100 feet through a conduit and worked surprisingly well.

Good product, but did not include the flexible metal detachable leader shown in the photo, and I searched specifically for the one with the leader shown.

The only reason why it is not 5 star because we had to pay another $58 for the customs clearance, which wasn't reflected anywhere during ordering process. Shouldn't be like that. The rest is OK. The item is as described.
