Quality Cotton Matelasse Bedspread

After looking online for months, I finally ordered the Historic Charleston King Charles Cotton Matelasse Bedspread that I had been admiring for years. It is a quality made and substantial bedspread made in India that does not skimp on size like so many other manufacturers. To say the least, I was pleasantly surprised. I look forward to enjoying this bedspread for many years.

Beautiful spread

Lovely spread and nice size. Nice weight for most nights. Also have a light weight blanket on bed. During rely cold night I can add a blanket over our feet.

Beautiful but not wide enough

This quilt is pretty, but it ot not wide enough to cover the sides. I have a king not a California king and it seems they are packaging these quilts to fit both. Unfortunately, the length is too long and I need the width.

Absolutely LOVE

I love the Historic Charleston look and love this bedspread. We added a cotton blanket underneath for extra warmth during the winter. Love the look and the color was just as expected! Very pleased with this purchase!

Quality not as expected

I had been eyeing this over sized spread and shams for a while. When pricing came down again, I decided to purchase. I was very excited to receive.

Way smaller than pictured

It is very attractive but I purchased this because it's advertised as oversized and the image shows it hanging to the floor which is exactly what I wanted. In reality it barely hangs over the edges of the mattress. It is also very rough to the touch.

Just what I was looking for

I had been looking for a king bedspread that had length on the sides for a very long time. This was the only brand I could find. Yes, price wise, a little more money than the others I found. Put on my wish list and waited for a price drop. I've had other coverlets, none compare to the quality of this one. I've also washed it many times, it has not shrunk one inch! I dry it on the lowest heat setting. I know I will own this for many years, its made to last.
