Fun for kids and adults

I really like the Hape marble runs. My grandsons will play with them for a long time. The one problem I have with each set is that the pieces can easily be knocked over. I would glue them together but then I would I couldn't change the configuration. I have 2 different sets that get hooked together, that makes it even more fun.

best birthday gift ever

I purchased this for a 5-year old boy as birthday gift. His parents told me this gift is fantastic, and their boy plays a lot. Very good quality.

Great new pieces for our collection

Great addition to our shape Marble collection. A but disappointed to see some of the pieces now being made out of plastic versus the Hape quality wood. Bells don’t ring as loudly as would have expected but my son is happy with all the new pieces for creating new runs.

It falls apart too easily.

I was excited to purchase this, as it is beautiful. However, the design is poor. The pieces do not fit together well enough to withstand children playing with it. Any minor, light bump or touch will send the entire thing tumbling to the ground. Even my 7 year old finds playing with this frustrating - all that work to build it, for it to crash with the lightest touch. It is almost like no children played with it when they made the design.. I wish I'd keep my ugly plastic marble run, because at least it held together much better. It seems like it would not be hard to fix this problem, and even sell retrofit kits to help improve stability. Unless they do, I would not buy this for children.

Falls over with the tiniest touch

This could be a great toy if the attachments were tighter and more stable but they are loose and tip with the slightest move and if you want this for your little kid then it’s the most frustrating toy ever created. I love the sturdy made wood pieces but that doesn’t help the run stay together. For the price, it should include some sort of stabilizers to keep it from tumbling over.

Beautiful and super expensive but

My son loves his Marble run, but it was Super expensive. In saying that it is durable and will last long. But come on it shouldn't be this much! He loves it so I am happy with my purchase for that reason. But consider lowering your prices geez!

Great quality

My kids have not stopped playing with them . A bit on the pricey side but good quality and very little plastic , so much better for the planet . Only thing would be , it you lost or broke one piece there are no replacement to buy separate which is a shame . Or more options of buying add ones so children could build on little by little. That's the only down side to this lovely marble run. Would recommend. Great learning too.

Sturdy and fun and a responsive company for issues

Ordered this for a Christmas gift. It arrived opened with the box damaged. Company provided replacement no questions asked. A bit of an ordeal with the new one but the company was very responsive and corrected all issues. Item itself is great. Sturdy. It’s smaller than I thought and pricey but it’s great fun. Extra sets or attachments would make it more elaborate (which we will likely buy). Overall I’d recommend but buy on sale if you can.

Good fun marble run

We brought this for my daughters age 3+5 for christmas with a few extra bits (xylophone and skate park). Its difficult to build and needed an adult to put it together, and not easy to fit the add ons in to the main structure,shame you cant just buy more blocks/straights. The pieces dont click together like a standard plastic marble run, but after the initial frustration at knocking it down my daughters soon learnt to be careful and not lean through the middle of the structure. They occasionally knock the top off but never the whole thing anymore. It came with plenty of marbles too which was great. Both my daughters are Severely sight impaired/blind so this was a great toy as they can add the marbles by touch and it makes a lot of noises on the way down as the marbles run through the loops and passed the bells. I would highly recommend this product. Just wondering why the prices have increased so much now though as we would have like to buy an extension.
