Nice selection of tools. Case is a nightmare.
It has a good selection of tools that you'll need on a boat. However, each tool rather snaps into it's own little space in the plastic case and some tools consistently fall out of their slots no matter how much you try seating them properly. It is incredibly frustrating as tools are falling out of their slots as you're trying to close the case. Enough of that already!

EXACTLY RIGHT!
This tool kit is perfectly set up to ensure you have all the basic tools you might need when out on the water. The quality is first class and because they’re designed to withstand salty conditions you know they’ll be ready to use when you need them.. not a rusty mess. I’m delighted with the quality, presentation and price.

Good tools, but case is hard to open if you are not strong
Bought this as my primary tool kit for my boat. You can find other good tool sets, but there aren't many that have a rubber seal against water. Some descriptions said the tools were rusted. Mine were in perfect condition. Only downside is that the case is very rough around the edges and hard to open. You have to snap open six separate locking things each of which requires some strength in your hands, and the plastic is rough and sharp in spots which makes it painful on the fingers if you are not wearing gloves or popping it open with a tool (I suppose you could file it down smooth). Strangely, my case had a strong gasoline smell all over it. I would have liked to add a hammer and a pair of vice grips, but it has 90% of everything I would need. Great value for the money.

No metric. Lower quality.
This is titled as an emergency tool kit, and probably a good title. The tools aren’t of great quality, but can do the job in a pinch. If I could return, I would, but I waited too long. Also, I have a leopard cat, and need metric. That’s on me for not paying better attention.

All I need 95% of the time
I've had this tool set aboard our boat for over a year now and no evidence of any rust. These are not high-end tools by any means. But they get the job done and I've been very happy with the set. Yes, I could lug my 50 pound case of high-end tools, and I do if I need them. But most of the time these are fine.

Compact, comprehensive set. Sturdy case. Good for quick fixes on board
Good to have on board for quick, minor fixes. These aren't top-notch tools, but that's offset by having a comprehesive, basic set of tools in one compact case. The case is very sturdy and has a gasket that helps prevent dampness from rusting the tools - they're definitely NOT stainless at this price! For more serious repairs, I bring my better tools on board, but I don't want (and don't need) them on board all the time - this kit gets monir jobs done well.

This tool set has pretty much everything you need to have with you when you go out on the water. Nice case that might be waterproof - don't know as I have not soaked it yet. Thee only thing is, the socket ratchet does not work properly. It is hard to change it from tightening to loosening, and when you do, the ratchet just slips and you can't loosen the bolt. It does help if you curse at it in a loud voice - at least, it helped mine. The ratchet started working again after I unleashed a long string of profanities at it . . .
