Great panel for the money

This is a pretty cool rocker switch panel. I decided to get this panel so that I could put this on an old boat I received. I haven't been able to install this yet, it's still really cold in Wisconsin. It looks great. All the switches feel good. The included stickers look great and simplify labeling the switches. I can't wait to get this panel on the boat!

I've been looking for accessory rocker switches for my JeeP Wrangler. Ran across these and... they're wonderful. I'm not a DIY'er for this kinda' stuff, so I had a mechanic friend of mine hook em up. Love 'em!

Very well built; useful design

This bank of switches is very well made. The panel is solid and the switches work with good positive clicks. The wiring is also well done. The overall construction quality is excellent. I'm using this bank of switches to control 12 volt circuits powering strings of LEDs strung around a model train room. They're ideal for it. Since the switches are rated for 24 volts as well, if I decide to switch to 24 volt strings I won't need to change out the switches. Very nice. And since the panel will be mounted near a central control center the USB charging ports will be very handy for keeping portable devices charged. I've tested the USB ports and they work. The only issue I've found is that the voltmeter reads 0.1 volt low. I have to turn my bench top power supply up to 12.1 to get a 12 volt reading. Generally my power supply is dead on with my Fluke meter. Since I see the switch bank's voltmeter as an extra and not likely to be used in a critical setting, its slight variance doesn't bother me. Do lay in some female spade lugs; this switch set does not come with any pigtails you can use to connect your circuits. (However, all of the switches and their on/off lights are prewired.)

Big rocker switches and excellent mounting panel for them.

Good sized switches with two sheets of glow-in-the-dark labels for them. The wire and connectors on the back of the switches are quite heavy so they should stand up to high amperage loads. For my purpose, I needed to decrease the bulk behind the switches so I removed the negative connectors and simply soldered a wire / bus line across those terminals. This was an easy modification and I then covered any exposed wire with heat shrink tubing and then added a coating of liquid electrical tape. The USB port provides a readout of the supply voltage and when you plug in a USB device the readout changes to an indication of the amperage draw through the USB ports. This is an excellent feature that I wish other USB charger ports provided. Overall, these are great switches, their mounting panel is strong, and the 5V USB ports are a very welcome help.

Robust Panel of Quality Rocker Switches

If you don’t want the small LED light at the bottom of the rocker switch to be on (it is lit whenever the panel is powered on), you simply remove one of the female spades on the back of the panel and it will only come on when the switch is thrown. The large LED light on each switch comes on only when the switch is thrown. The panel these rocker switches are mounted in is solid aluminum and doesn’t flex at all. The rocker switches have a firm snap when thrown, are well-designed, and seem to be rock solid. The female spade connectors that connect the switches on the back side are all insulated and have a locking tab that keeps them from being pulled off. However, they come off easily if you want to remove them. You can easily push in on the locking tab and remove them. You can label each switch with one of over 140 transparent labels. In the pictures, you can see I chose to label one switch “Alien Light”. With the switches in the off position, the small switch lights on, and the voltmeter on, the panel pulls about 20 ma. The voltmeter is exceedingly accurate. I measured it with a very accurate meter, and it was always right on. There is also a dual USB charger next to the voltmeter. Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Yes, these rocker switches and the panel they are mounted in are very robust and high quality.

Solid Mounting Switch Plate & Charger but, bright at night.

The media could not be loaded. I used this in my truck to add a few new items, I got the BLUE version. Operation works fine with a bumpy face and clear click ON-OFF positions. This entire gang of switches comes pre-wired in a buss type array where you only need to supply 12VDC and GND. then the hot side of each item. The jumpers and spade connectors are high quality and fully insulated so, no accidental short circuits if accommodations are tight. During the day these are illuminated well however; at night the lights are VERY bright, placing a sticker over it helps reduce the amount of light helps a bit. GOOD: - Ample amount of stickers to show use. They stick very well too. - Strong spring “Click” On & Off. - Heavy gauge wire & insulation for jumpers inter-connecting each switch. - Single Buss configuration, only one power source required. - Aluminum housing frame, 0.1” thick. - You are able to disable the high intensity lights. ROOM for IMPROVEMENT: (my reason for four stars) - Not dimable and depending on the location and angle you install these they could be annoyingly bright. You can see in my video the intensity of the lights in the dark. - I wish they had a smaller version, about 25% smaller. Thanks for taking the time to read my review -- I hope it helps.
