Nice product, NOT packaged for gifting!

I love this candle... Brought us smiles for years, and it's great not to have to turn it on and off. So this year I bought one as a gift for a friend. When I received this a few years ago, it definitely came in a regular product box. But this time, it came in a plain brown packing box *within* the Amazon box! Horrible as a gifting item. At least it's securely boxed, but since other reviewers mentioned breakage, I was compelled to open it and check it before giving it... So now not sure if I'll just keep it in the ugly box for safety sake (it has styrofoam inserts, etc) or take it out and try to somehow safely put it into a giftbag ... Overall, love the product BUT beware if you're getting it as a gift - if you send it directly to the recipient, might be worth the Amazon gift wrap on this one!

Great LED Candles Anywhere in the House or for Gifting

I love these decorative LED candles. They are very pretty and come with assorted magnetically attaches decorations. The light is warm and lasts a long time. I program this candle to turn on at a particular time of the day and stay lit for 4 hours. I use it as a soft night light in my dining room and kitchen area. If the shipment comes intact, which I have occasionally found to be a challenge, then you will be very happy with this product. The candle has a strong plastic backing, which is a plus. I have purchased wax LED candles thatmostly did not work or the candle wax melted where mild sunlight hit the candle. These candles are superior compared to wax ones. As for the problems, one order came broken, shattered into pieces and it was replaced. The next order came with its essential screws missing on the bottom. I also wish these candles came in a narrower size so that I could also use them in my window panes. These are too pretty to not have in other sizes.

Lovely Gift For Any Time of Year

This was a Christmas gift for my mother and she absolutely loves it. The next time I went to visit she had it on display and I was very happy with the quality and beauty of this little "candle" holder. It was very heavy and not at all flimsy or cheaply made. It gives off a lovely glow and you really can't even tell there isn't an actual candle in it. Mom has tried out the settings for automatic turn on/off and it works just fine. Changing the panels is simple and she really loved that she could swap them out and keep it up, and themed, throughout the year as she is one that always has some sort of decorations or highlights/colors out depending on the holiday or time of year. All-in-all, a very nice and quality product that was such a perfect gift I will likely buy it again as a present and may even get one for myself! If that's not a glowing endorsement, I don't know what is!

Multi-season decoration!

This lantern is so cute and super easy to switch out the panels! I love colored light so I actually switched out the candle it came with for a colored tap light and now I can do different colors for different seasons. This lantern is quite sturdy and would make a great gift too!

You will love it!!

I purchased this item as a Mother's Day gift for my Mother. It is was even prettier than I expected. It provides a peaceful and relaxing glow when lit, but it is also looks great when it is not on. The panels are a great way to switch it up from season to season. I wish it came with more and I would love to be able to purchase additional panels for it. I liked this product so much, that I bought a second one for my niece for her new home on her birthday. I still plan to buy another for myself and one for my sister in law. My advice if you are thinking about purchasing this ... do it. You will not regret it.

Adorable, sturdy, beautiful little lamp

It's made of real metal, the magnets are stronger than I expected, and it looks gorgeous on my mantle. It's definitely nice enough to gift to someone! I'll be ordering more of them to gift at Christmas.

Great for decorating for the seasons.

I happened to see this item when I looked up Fall Items on Amazon. It was on sale for a great price. The reviews were good, and it looked so cute I ordered it. I am so glad I did. So easy! The panels are all magnetic so when the seasons change and you want to change the look of the lantern just take down the panels and replace with the ones you want that come with it. 4 panels for each season. I haven't opened all of them yet, I have already put the Fall panels on, believe there are ones for christmas and spring/summer. Great for gifts at the sale price!

Die Laterne ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet worden. Sie ist das ganze Jahr über ein toller Hingucker. Es ist eine tolle Idee, dass sich jeder die Seitenwände selber kombinieren kann. Der Timer ist eine sehr gute Idee. Ich habe den Kauf nicht bereut. Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell und reibungslos.

Trop fragile

Les 3 vis qui tiennent la "bougie" sont sous-dimensionnées, elles ne résistent pas aux manipulations subies pendant le transport. L'article a été livré avec la bougie désolidarisée du corps de la lanterne, ce que je ne pouvais voir, et j'ai été obligé de mettre des vis de plus gros diamètre pour maintenir la bougie.
