Works as described

Either the description wasn't clear or I missed it. But I thought I was ordering a switch that was on when I held the button and off when released. What I got was push on and it stays on until pushed off. This isn't ideal, but works fine in my 30 year old angel grinder.

Works perfectly!

I don't understand why everyone is saying it is hard to use. Works perfectly! I have used this brand for years and this switch works not only like it is supposed to but as it always has. I wanted to add a switch to my wine cooler, so I did not waste electricity when not needed. I recommend buying if you need a switch like this.

Nice push-push switch. I don’t know why this had me rank waterproofness. The ting is in no way even water resistant.

Basic Switch Replacement ????

Step switch went out in my Olreck vacuum sweeper. Try to get a OEM replacement but was price prohibitive. Found this on Amazon ordered replaced / installed and works like a charm for 50% of the cost. Labor was a little tricky as you had to cut and re-splice the wires from the old to the new switch but works like a charm.

hard to press

This review is for Gardner Bender GSW-21 Electrical Motor Rated Push-Button Switch. Like others posted this switch is very hard to press on/off. seems solidly built. If you mount on a solid surface like a steel plate it should work fine. If you are mounting on something not very solid you will need to hold the object in place to press the switch.
