It's amazing!

It keeps bait alive for days!

Keeps Mackerel and Sardines for days!

This is a very well-built system. Sturdy, and well thought out. Even has non-skid rubber feet. I use the largest Magnum model, and I use it in saltwater for one week per year for the last three years. The only things that could make this better, besides being cheaper, are as follows. The system does look like it could be prone to corrosion so I take care to remove the batteries for storage, rinse well, and leave battery compartments open while in the garage. The only other thing is that I replaced the stone aerators with larger "donut" style aerators. This has allowed me to keep more fish or even larger ones. I've actually kept a 15" Calico Bass alive in this all day until I got to a good place to clean it. I love this little live well for when I'm on the dingy away from my larger bait storage. I was sure mine has a vent that lets air out and not water, but I could be wrong. I'll have to check on my next trip, but it hasn't been an issue. I may have modified it to vent. I can't remember if I did, but it wouldn't be hard.

Keeps bait lively

Used it once already for a bunch of different bait fish. I like it so much I found a spot on my boat where it stays. I keep it there when I trailer my boat loaded with bait and it doesn't spill a drop which is good in the winter when the water freezes. I wouldn't plan on keeping any large gizzard shad for more than an hour or two in it . For chubs, suckers, shiners and bluegills, it does the trick I want to add this. Wire an adapter to your boat because the unit comes with an dc adapter. The D cells aren't cheap and the boat battery is rechargeable. The noise from the aerator might drive you nuts so bring a radio to drown it out

Father’s Day Gift

My 2 boys bought this for there dad for Father’s Day! My husband absolutely loved it! Very spacious and has dividers to keep bait separated if you buy different types. Would buy again and highly recommend

Field Tested

We tested the 30 Qt and 19 Qt Frabill Magnum Bait Stations on a trip to West Grand Lake last week. We had 3 days of cold weather, below zero at night (up to 15 below) and highs in the low teens for 3 days. These were stored in an unheated garage and they had no ice through 2 days and very little by day 3. Other regular coolers being used had heavy ice on the walls and bottom and had to be thawed out. Expensive, but they work. Sure the aerator is proprietary but at $30 to replace, it's not much more than others. You can still use a different aerator, it just won't seal as well. My buddy is returning an Engel Bait Cooler he had bought for one of these. They are only about half as thick as these ones and it did not hold up. Good product!!

Love it

I love everything about it! Third one I’ve bought!! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is due to lack of spare parts or customer service. Customer service is non existent. But.. the bait station is fantastic!!

Absolutely best bang for the buck

Dude, this thing is awesome I have taken the divider out and kept shad alive, the battery life is stupid long. It keeps the bait nice and cool! Absolutly and amazing product, we have kept about a dozen shad in it alive with both bubblers on high. I kept bluegills in it for 3 days honestly if it had water circulation and a damn active carbin filter it would be perfect, do not waste time buying a 80 dollar cooler, then screwing with drilling it up and stuff by the time you build somthing similar you coulda bought this sweet azz unit right here.

Needs improvement, and better pumps

Worked great, one aerator stopped working, no vent to allow air out (which means no more air can go in) You need to leave the lid un-latched. Emailed Frabill with no response. Both pumps have died and again no response from Frabill……..

Change water and use ice daily and will keep minnows longer

Batteries seem to last long time. Keeps minnows alive and runs for at least 100 hours with the same 2 D batteries.
