Outstanding!

Read a bunch of reviews here regarding WiFi connectivity drops and a faulty remote, I use the app, which works perfectly, and have a mesh network which has dual band 2.4 and 5. The lights connected once and haven’t disconnected, no WiFi issues, and the app is great. Super solid.

Great when working, but way to much overhead for something branded as a smart device

I bought these through Costco, but noticed a lot of similar issues to my experience. After many months of trial and error, countless days of being on the verge of just trashing these, I finally got them to work. To a fault these work as advertised, but you have to be willing to put in much more effort than expected. Due to the incompatability with 5gz networks, the overhead is high and requires some tweaking of your network settings. On a 2.4gz/5gz dual-band router these things will fail, as there is too much network traffic and it will ultimately default to the 5gz band and kick them off the network. This led to multiple trips to my garage to get the ladder, reset them, and inevitably watch them fail and go offline. The only way to truly get them working is to create a new SSID on a 2.4gz band and connect them to that network. Depending on your equipment it's doable, otherwise these will be a pain. If you don't have a decent router that allows you create seperate SSID's and a 2.4gz network, I'd look elsewhere. If you've kept them and want a work around, you'll need to put on your network admin skills.

These work great on my WiFi and with the remote

Have had them about 6 months and they have stayed connected and working the whole time. Very easy to connect to WiFi and stable connection.

Ill thought out product

It took about 15 tries for this to finally pair with the app after that the app was very buggy and annoying to use. perhaps future app updates will fix the issues.

Terrible WiFi Control

Please be aware that these lights are beautiful but terrible working with WiFi connections. I've been working with Alexa and WiFi lights for years now, and these are terrible. Had them working great two nights in a row, woke up in the morning, and all of them were off line. Wry disappointed in the WiFi capabilities of these lights. Fix this and I'm sold for life.
