Excellent craftsmanship, but way too high.

These pillows are very nice. There’s are things a like, and there’s just a few things I’m not crazy about. What I like: • 100% cotton, of course I can’t say if the inside really is cotton and cooling gel, but the outside sure seems as if it is. This is great for people with allergies, like me, and possibly for guests. • The craftmanship is very good. • The pillows expand exponentially when you take them out of the vacuum sealed bag. Remember, pillows are a very personal thing. That I personally don’t like or feel is unnecessary : • They are too high to feel comfortable for me. My husband was able to sleep on it (side sleeper), but still prefers his regular pillow. We both agree a back sleeper could not sleep on this unless they put their head in the middle of the pillow, not if they like to sleep closer to the edge, like both of us do, it just won’t work. When lying on my back it causes my neck to be at a very high angle, I felt like it was close to 45°, I sleep close to the edge so it does this to me when I sleep on my side too. I cannot imagine a stomach sleeper ever being able to sleep on these. • They don’t have filling in the corners, I’ll need to squish it up there. • Since I use a pillow case I didn’t notice if it was cooling, I hoped I would, I like cool pillows, I can say it’s not hot. But it’s not cool enough for a woman with night sweats (not that they c;laimed it was, I just wanted to make sure if anyone who is reading this has night sweats they know this won’t help. I wish it would) • I also don’t notice if it’s Egyptian cotton. That might have been a waist there. Just plain old cotton would have sufficed. I would prefer organic cotton since it’s going to me all around the head. I wanted these for our regular pillows, especially mine, but they are going in the shams in the guest bedroom unless I open it up and can take some of the filling out, and sew it back up no one will be sleeping on them.. I don’t want my guest as uncomfortable as I was trying to sleep on these pillows. If these had been comfortable I’d have bought more. They are disappointing for us. I can’t recommend these pillows if you sleep like me. However, the craftmanship is very nice. 5 stars on that~~ I was thinking that I could only take off 1 star for the filling being too high, but they say that Side, Back, and Stomach Sleeper, there is no way a Stomach sleeper can sleep on this pillow as it is now. I hope they change it and reduce the amount of filling they put in it. Remember, pillows are very personal. I hope this review is helpful.

Pleasant Dreams, Guaranteed! ;o) ;o)

Title: Pleasant Dreams, For Sure! ;o) Hello there, nice to meet YOU! ;o) Obviously, different strokes for different folks! I honestly think pillows of any sort is a personal preference. (I actually peeked at the other reviews, and the range of 'emotions' regarding these pillows are rather wide!) Nevertheless, I'll try to concentrate on the qualities of these pillows, then say a 'one-liner' (or two) about how I like them, okay? You should know I'm a relative newbie ordering pillows online. A surprising thing, was how they arrived: almost flat, the most vacuum-packed set of pillows (actually bedding thus far) I've ever received! At first I wondered if I got the right order, they were unrecognizable as pillows, you know? This must be a fairly recent method (or technology?) of shipping bedding, err pillows-- as I've never experienced anything like that! I followed the provided directions, and gave them a day or two to resume their supposed shape or loft. And these pillows certainly did, achieving the fluffiness and fullness they ought to be. The stitching and fabric quality of these King sized, Egyptian Cotton, Hotel Quality Pillows are very, very good, no worries there. These 'hotel pillows' literally appeared as stated in their listing. All positive-- I can't find anything negative to say about them! ;o) Proof of the Pudding: My hubby and I love fully stuffed oversized pillows with softness and yet firm as well. After sleeping on these high quality pillows, we both agree they pass the goodness test. Many times over the years I've tried to buy our pillows in the brick and mortar stores, only to be disappointed and put up with them... we were never satisfied until now. Truly. (For the record, we are both back and side sleepers; we like firmness because we both need support for our ailing necks, so to speak. ;o) In short, these awesome pillows fit the bill... for us. Good thick pillows

I was a bit shocked to see a 1 inch flat pillow when these arrived, but as soon as I took them out of the vacuum sealed bags they regained their loft. The instructions say give them 24 hours to completely regain their proper shape before using - I waited two days to be sure. So far I really like these pillows. They're fairly firm which I like (I'm a side sleeper) and after a week they still retain their loft. They do have enough give to allow my head to sink into it a bit which is perfect for side sleep. I've also been using these as a back rest against a wooden sofa arm and it's working great for that as well - even that did not permanently compress or deform the pillows. They're also a good fit for my queen size pillow cases. These are supposed to be machine washable in cold water/gentle and dryable on low heat. They recommend you run the rinse cycle twice (I assume to make sure all the soap gets out). That's the one thing I haven't tried yet, but will update after they need their first bath. My only real complaint is they arrived with some little bits of fluff on the outside of the pillow. I don't know if that was just from the manufacturing process or if they shed - will check after the first wash to see if more fluff surfaces. They're not the best pillows I've ever slept on, but so far I'm a happy sleeper.

If you like your pillows thick and lofty

These pillows arrived in heat shrink wrapping but took their final shape quickly. They seem too full for properly supporting my neck and I found my neck at an odd angle and pushed the pillow away at night. They are well made and are of high quality -just not a fit for me.
