DIY installation successful and straightforward

The five year old valves in our Eago toilet were squeaking and failing. With this replacement flushing mechanism, we solved the problem. I was afraid it would be a tough plumbing job with some untraceable leak, but it all worked out for the best, and now our toilet works. Excellent.

Poor mechanism and arrived broken.

To start: as pictured, the little sliding plastic part (in the bottom right of the product photo) arrived broken. The part in the top right of the product photo leaks, and the mechanism as a whole is very poorly designed, leaking and wasting a lot of water. A bad purchase. I would have returned this, but I needed this as soon as possible and so had to install it despite its many faults. I'd recommend staying away from this one!
