Replaced A Discontinued RP38368

I had a broken cold water side of an older Delta Victorian model. The instructions called for a RP38368 replacement part, which is no longer available. This RP38367 looked very similar with a slightly different base. I took a chance. The faucet itself was identical and the bases were interchangeable. The RP38367 was oriented for hot water, but that can be swapped by rotating the valve 180 degrees and moving the stop. This saved me from having to replace the whole fixture or over-pay for an old stock item. If Delta told you this won't work as a replacement, they are wrong.
