Great product

Purchased this to put on my ATV to get work done around the property. Tooled around with a 10 foot trailer with this drop hitch and worked perfectly. Its built to take years of abuse.

Fits nicely, well made

Installed this with a Curt front hitch on my 2019 f150 xlt 4x4 for using with a winch in the near future. Plenty of clearance and added a anti-rattle piece to keep the noise down. Image shows it at a slight angle but that from the hitch itself and not the product. Look forward to testing the whole system out.

8” extension is to long

The quality was great and a good price. I returned the extension because it was to long and I wanted something shorter like a 4” or 5” extension.

Ordered NEW item was used!

Ordered and paid for a new hitch, item was clearly used with scratches were it was once attached to another vehicle, buyer beware!

Fits a 2015 Buick Enclave

We needed a riser for a luggage rack but the first riser we bought didn't clear the Enclave's bumper and couldn't be used. This one is a hair shy of being flush with the bumper so as long as we slip something between the bumper and the riser to protect against scratching, this solves our problem!

Down, out, and room for gas

We have a motorhome and two electric-assist bikes. The bike rack was too close and too high when mounted on the hitch receiver. This adapter lowers the hitch by four inches and moves it away from the back of the RV by eight inches. As it turns out, that was just enough room to allow access to the gas fill, as well.

High Quality

Just what I needed on the back of the motorhome to lift my enclosed bike carrier 4" and keep it from dragging. Ran a string from bottom of tire to carrier bottom and noted that hitch will drag before carrier touches ground. Perfect. This realization makes the competitors 6" lift version, that I was considering, useless, as 4" lift does the job with less potential flex. The advertised Robotic weld and 7500lb tow rating sold me on this model. Hugely exceeds my needs especially when you consider that my carrier is attached at two locations (two hitches).

perfect solution for my low hitch.

My hitch was too low and I would sometimes scrape the bottom of my bike rack when going up a steep rise. With this adapter, the 4" rise in height is perfectly aligned with where the OEM hitch would be. It only extends by about 7" to 8". I also bought a lockable anti-rattle pin. Perfect solution and arrived just in time for our weekend trip!

This product is not a 4" drop advertised but rather a 2" drop do not order if you want a 4" drop.
