Good loom for novice weaver
Bought this loom based on customer reviews and so far I am very happy with it. As a novice on bead weaving I needed a good starter kit and this Bead Loom offers the basics. It came with: 1 bag with black beads, 1 bag with white beads, 1 bag with mixed colors (including black & white), 2 needles, a needle threader, a spool with white thread and an instruction sheet with example motif. What I really like about this loom is the fact that I can adjust both the width and the length of my creations (not endlessly but it is suffice for my needs at the moment). This loom is sturdy, big enough to make different sized projects but not too big to be a hassle to work with. I can use it on a table or on my lap. Things I think could use a little tlc from the manufacturer: the instruction booklet could display better graphics on how to start setting things up, I ended up watching a bunch of videos on the internet - the needles I recieved did not fit through all the bead holes, I had to find thinner ones to use - the amount of beads in this kit is really minimal and I was not amused that I had to separate beads from the multicolor bead bag in order to start on the motif example given in the booklet - it would be nice if the multicolor bead bag did not include black & white but instead would offer more other colors. I am giving 4 stars for the kit - 5 stars for the loom itself.

Not for a beginner (in my opinion)...and I'm a beginner so I'd know!
I really enjoy this loom, but it's a headache to set up, especially for a beginner like myself. I learned on Rick's Beading Loom and this is a completely different animal. My suggestion is get you some inexpensive thread and just practice setting up your threads until you learn how to keep them tight. Otherwise you'll end up wasting a lot of valuable line (like I did) in the learning process. After going through almost two spools of Fire Line, I finally figured out not only how to set it up to my standards but also how to unwind the thread back onto the Fire-Line spool if I make a mistake and need to re-thread the loom. It takes patience, and I nearly lost mine. A few times I had visions of chucking it against the nearest wall. But I stuck with it and I am now working on an enormous project with seventeen beads per line. Also, I should add this works best with smaller seed beads, not the larger type. It says to not skip rows in the included directions, but on how-to videos I've heard you can skip rows if needed to accommodate larger beads, so this may be a sort of user-decision thing. It comes with a small pack of black and white beads and a small pack of multi-colored beads, a small spool of thread, needles and directions. it is some-assembly-required, but it's nothing too difficult. You may need help tightening the wingnuts on each roller if you don't have good grip strength, but you don't want them too tight as they're there for you to make adjustments as you work.

Needs better packaging and even looping ends
Box came pretty beat up and the parts inside where loose and scatter, so watch when opening the box. The nail ends to loop my thread around on one side is not even and worry it may effect the tightness of my thread in the future. Overall easy to put together and love the fact I can tight the warp threads on it better.

black and rainbow and a bobbin full of string a needle came w it also but wudnt fit through some of "my"beads but went through the provided beads just fine so all in all everything from start to finish ...
Ok so I just got this loom a week ago and have made 3 bracelets so far.. the loom was shipped very quickly no damage to anything except one of the bags if beads came open but not a huge deal as they came in a larger bag. I've made 2 bracelets so far and it's performed perfectly, came w enough beads to make a bracelet with a bag of white, black and rainbow and a bobbin full of string a needle came w it also but wudnt fit through some of "my"beads but went through the provided beads just fine so all in all everything from start to finish was just fine and I would recommend this product to anyone..

Easy to Get Started.
This was my first attempt at using a loom. The instructions to setup the loom itself were clear. The directions on how to start weaving were pretty good. I watched some YouTube videos, so I felt confident in weaving. My 1st piece of advice is to throw out the beads that come with the loom. They were horrible. At least 25% of the beads were too small for the needle & thread make the second pass-through. I went to my local bead store & bought #8 seed beads, & they worked well. However, when I went to take the "finished" piece off the loom, there were no directionsI SURPRISE! Not one word on how to remove your piece from the loom. When I get a chance I'll have to check out YouTube. It would also be helpful if they showed you how to put a clasp on your finished work. My piece will -- hopefully -- be a bracelet, if I can figure out a way to add a clasp. If the directions were better, I would have given the loom 5 stars.

Great for beginners and veterans alike
This is great for beginners and veterans alike. The biggest problem is getting each project set up and getting started. It was frustrating trying to get the threads to stay stretched tight after I got them arranged on the loom, which is quite lightweight. I found that I had to twist, wrap, tape and knot the threads in an attempt to keep them taut. But after I figured that out, it was relatively simple. My 8 year old grandson even made a simple bracelet for his mom, and he had a great time. It comes with some needles, thread, and beads; the best thing to do with these is throw them out and get some "big eye" beading needles and size 8/0 (3 mm) seed beads that you can really work with. I also used both heavy-duty quilting thread and nylon light-duty beading thread with great success.

Decent for the price
It can be a bit of a pain to get the threads strung and the they can shift when you roll down your work, but it's livable. I never bothered to use the beads that came with the kit and quickly upgraded my thread. Overall, I like it. I'm new to the craft but managed to complete a fairly complex pattern with little trouble. I think it's a great loom for beginners, resourcing for the price.
