My first time buying and working with this type of material, its' great and holds up, my only criticsm for those who have never bought the more rubbery ones, is they sound like a bloody gun shout when you slam them on the ground, so if you have neighbors who easily complain about loudness, this is a definitely a take to the park type ball and not a do at home ball. And when I say it sounds like a gun shout, it really does echo. Love it and no regrets just unfortunately i have neighbors who complain eaisly.

Lopsided and uneven

I purchased 12 of these for my gym to avoid 700$ in shipping costs from Rogue. Regret making that choice. The balls are uneven and bounce sideways when dropped in the middle of a set of wallballs. The top surface is smooth which is nice however under the top layer of fabric the balls are all misshapen and warped. The weight is not distributed evenly which is a major factor. Today was their first day of use at my gym and I am extremely disappointed in their performance. While there’s still hope that they will “break in”, I fear they will only get worse. Unfortunately I missed the return window while waiting for other equipment and we are stuck with them. Do not recommend for crossfit home gyms or commercial gyms.

It weighs as stated

This ball will work great as an object of its weight, it seems durable. It is fairly stiff. And definitely not smooth or round so when you toss it you don’t know which way it will bounce or go. If you are looking at function, this will supply the weight and you can toss it- just be ready to chase it where it goes.

Solid piece of equipment for your home gym

The med ball is durable and well made. It’s slightly larger than other weighted med balls I’ve used, made it slightly challenging to hold and mov around my body, but overall a solid piece of equipment.

Great Slam Ball!

Great slam ball!! I was able to get a great workout in. Will look to get a heavier ball soon the road. Very durable and holds it shape through the pounding. Great product.
