I probably should have checked local for a rental

It works great for what it was designed to do. I don’t work on small engines for a living and removed the old part, and had the new one installed in about 5 minutes and will probably never use the tool again, but it was worth it since the part isn’t coming off without it.

Perfect addition to my power tool collection

Fits perfectly over the starter clutch and with my impact gun, it spun the clutch off with ease.

The tool works great

Used this on a 1975 Cooper Klipper mower with a 2.5 HP Briggs and Stratton engine. Tool worked great, much better than using a hammer and some type of dowel or socket and beating the clutch off.

Nice Tool, worked great.

Genuine Briggs and Stratton part, made in the U.S.A. Heavy duty cast metal piece, worked well on my older 3hp engine.

Right tool for the job.

Definitely a must have for removing the starter clutch on older Briggs and Stratton motors. Works great to remove and reinstall the starter clutch without damaging the mounting ears for the screen. And only way to truly torque the starter clutch properly to keep the flywheel from coming off.

Fits direct to the clutch and makes a tricky job easy.

Great tool for a very specific purpose. Saved a load of hammering and potential damage ( not to mention my temper and language....) in separating the clutch and fly wheel on my Briggs and Stratton petrol engine. Probably won’t need to use it again for a couple of years, but good to have it in the tool box.

Good buy - handy tool

My first buy from the Amazon Warehouse and I was expecting a used return. The tool that turned up looked unused in decent packaging so very pleased with such a good saving. The tool itself is solid and well-made.
