Reduced fumes & better cleaning than other Bissell formula

This "natural" Crosswave formula is vastly better than the original fluid with Febreze. It's changed my relationship with the Crosswave. The original formula (including the "free" one that came with the device) is so over-fragranced with synthetic fake floral stench that I had to air out the house after using it -- even in the middle of winter, I would open doors and windows to get the fumes out. The synthetic fragrance was gross. I searched for homemade recipes and less toxic options that were never quite right. Then I gave this a try -- and it's much better than the original! I think it cleans better and definitely smells better than the "original" version. It has a bit fragrance, but it's light enough that it doesn't knock you over like the other one. The house smells clean now after using it, not like a floral-scented toxic waste dump (which is the only way I can describe the other one). I'd prefer no fragrance at all, but this "natural" version gets a B+ for the significant improvement made to both the odor and cleaning power.

Works great!

This smells great and really did a good job on the floor. It got up all the dirt that the dogs drag in on their paws and the smell was pleasant but not overpowering. I found it can be used daily in heavy traffic areas with no problem.

Clean… not citrus

I’ll say, for my three tiny dogs this was great in our Bissell crosswave pro pet, wasn’t crazy about the smell. They’re going for natural but I’ll be frank when I say urine is natural and I don’t like the smell. The citrus doesn’t shine through much so while it smells better than pet smell, it’s not amazing. Cleans great, though.

Best option they currently offer

I really wish they offered an unscented option, but since they don't this is the least offensive scent of any of their formulas. It does do a good job cleaning and doesn't feel like it leaves any residue (we use this on sealed concrete floors). I still very much prefer to have windows open when using this, however I will say the scent dissipates relatively quickly (especially if the windows are open).

Great scent

Products used to clean up pet oder don't usually have a clean scent. They are over scented and never smell as advertised. This has a clea,n some what, but not over done citrus scent that doesn't linger too long. There are no streaks on the floor and it appears to clean well. i like it so far.

I'm so glad I tried this floor cleaner. It's makes the house smell so light and fresh and does a good job cleaning.

Smells great

Our family is sensitive to chemical smells, so we were worried about using a cleaning solution in our steam mop. We’re very happy with this product – smells fresh, but not strong at all. And it cleans really well.
