I like this Moisture Essence. This line of products does not seem to have a daily face lotion, so I surmise that this somewhat takes the place of that. If you need a lot of added moisture, this may not do the job. But I want lightweight for daytime. And I want the product to soak into my skin completely. The humid conditions where I live demand something lightweight for daytime. I've had the opportunity to try five products in the "Beyond Glow" line from Botanical Skin Care. For the most part, I can say positively, that much attention to detail went into this combination of products: There is quality and similarity of fragrance and packaging. But, except for the cleanser and this essence, this line is not for me! The toner, the eye cream, the Aqua Boost cream are way too sticky for me! And it all feels like a heavy layer sitting on top of my skin. This essence seems to give me a little coverage and protection and provides a decent base for my foundation when I wear it. It does seem to give a boost to my skin's look and feel. The fragrance is light and very nice--a bit lime-y, fresh, sweet, not citrus-y sharp or tangy. If you don't mind sticky, or if sticky is what you are used to, (I don't know, it might depend on your location, skin type or whatever), this line has many things going for it, and it is a fairly complete line of products, in that it contains most of the products that one needs in the course of a day: Cleanser, toner, essence, cream, oil, peel, eye cream. I don't see a lightweight daily lotion, but the essence comes close and might take the place of that. And it all seems to have decent value. And the lids--you will love them. These are the most user-friendly, easy-to-manage-manipulate, sturdy lids I have ever run across! Seriously, I bet you will love them: Square-ish, with slightly pillowed-out four sides. So easy to turn! The black lids pair together nicely with substantial, wuality plastic bottles for a nice, clean look.
