Beadalon Memory Wire end caps

I have been making a loop and attaching a charm in the loop at the end and beginning of my bracelet. I saw the end caps advertised and ordered the variety pack. My first try with glue letting it dry a couple hours did not work. I ended up picking up beads from the floor under my work table. They look very nice so I tried again by bending the end wire just enough to give it a kink so it would still go into the end cap. I put glue in the end cap and on the wire before inserting into end cap. I let it dry a few hours and it looks and feels like it is a part of the wire and my bracelet is still together. I still put a loop on one end for a charm.

UNUSEABLE SIZES

I bought this product hoping that the decorative end beads would look more professional than my attempts to make a decent looking loop on the end of my memory wire bracelets. These beads do indeed look nicer, but they are very small and hard to manage. Once glue is placed on the end of the wire, it is difficult to set the end bead on correctly without it sticking to the glue and coming loose from the wire. Another drawback of the product is that it seems as if I can only use half of the beads because the other half is made for a lot thinner gauge wire. PRO: It's a nice finishing touch to jewelry. CON: Very hard to work with. This product is a hit-or-miss for me.

I like the fact that they include more than one size and go on easy. I glued them on both ends of my bracelets.

This was my first experience working with these end caps. They were nice quality & I'm sure with someone more experienced, they work well. I struggled with applying the glue & trying to maneuver them onto my wire. I ended up losing half the caps. Perhaps with practice?

Very Useful

I have tried so hard to finish the ends of memory wire bracelets neatly but failed abysmally. For some reason I cannot get the wire into a lovely completely closed circle. So now the plan is to chop those ends of and replace them with these. Maybe then I won't be too embarrassed to wear them!!! I haven't actually used these yet so cannot comment on how easy they are to use. But so far I am very impressed with the quality and range of sizes.

Pas de trou

Encore une fois je suis déçue de produit Beadalon. Plus que moitié d'embouts n'a pas de trous. Et en plus pas facile mettre sur le fil mémoire même celles-ci qui ont un trou.
