had to purchase a powerdrill tool box, and like a previous customer said you have to drill a hole first for the screw and then screw the screw in w a screwdriver.

It does adjust in length but overall, it’s a rod hook and what you would expect out of one. Sturdy and worked well.

Too short

Didn’t work - should have measured (and read) more carefully. These only extend to 4 inches - not that much farther than regular. Thought would save money with Amazon basics but am ending up spending more to get significant extension

EASY TO CONFIGURE, STRURDY AND EASY TO INSTALL.

My new place is an old building with truly massive windows. Even with shade the light just comes pouring in. I like light but at times I need total darkness to sleep or sometimes just calm down. I installed blackout curtains to insure that its pitch black dark when that's what I need. So I needed curtain rods and curtain rod holders strong enough to handle the weight of four panels of heavy blackout curtains. This curtains are insanely heavy when all on one rod. Fewer panels would not give me the total coverage I needed to insure no light gets in on a sunny day. So I needed a curtain rod solution that could hold a lot of weight. I also needed a curtain rod solution that let me leave my existing white roll down window shades in place. These curtain rod hangers did both jobs well. The adjustable length extension set to max on these curtain rods let my blackout curtains float outside of my shade rolling assemblies. Despite the extension these curtain rod holders were securely anchored and did not move, sag or shake. The length of the curtain rod was huge over 70 inches so I had one in the middle to avoid rod sag. I had the rods professionally installed and given it took the technicians minutes to be done I must say they were easy to install if you know what you are doing. This is another instance where I have no negatives to share on the product and I won't make up something where nothing was wrong!

Good investment for curtains

Good quality and lasted over 1 year without breaking or falling down recommended

Decent quality

Heavy metal and good quality fasteners. All screws and parts included. Quality of powder coating can be improved. Overall a decent product if you are looking for a not fancy curtain rod holder.

Does the job

I was looking for a pair of brackets which would go with the curtain rods that I have at home. These brackets are very sturdy and are adjustable to boot. Not the most elegant solution out there but they are adjustable and get the job done.
