Not great, but better than using your lungs

I needed to inflate several hundred balloons in the course of a few hours, which I knew would be impossible without some sort of automatic pump. This little number did the job pretty well, but there are a couple of gripes. While there are 2 nozzles to use, only one of them controls whether the pump is actually engaged. How this machine works is: slip a balloon over the nozzle & push down on the nozzle while holding the balloon in place. Pressing down engages the motor, which then inflates the balloon. Release when you have enough air. This works great for inflating one balloon, but the problem is that the second nozzle doesn't have control over the air flow. If the first balloon inflates faster than the second, the first balloon must be removed from the nozzle, and then press the first nozzle again to fill the second balloon up. This could be solved with "continuous on" mode, but this machine is VERY noisy and generates a lot of heat. I was working with another person, and it was less annoying to have to press the main nozzle a couple extra times rather than deal with the noise & heat. Also, the price was quite a bit more than I would have expected for such a simple machine. Unfortunately there weren't many options for this kind of device, but it was still unexpected to pay as much as I did ($80). I still have the machine, so if I need to fill balloons again in the future I'm sure I will use it. I would recommend seeing if you can find some sort of compressed air canister or other means of rapidly filling balloons (maybe renting a machine) if you don't see yourself filling lots of balloons lots of times.

if you need to fill a lot of ballons

This is the pump to get. I was using an air compressor but was tired of hauling it around. This is quiet and quick and doesn't require as much skill and care as the compressor because it is lower pressure. turn it on and put the balloon over the nozzle and press the nozzle to fill the balloon. works great so far to make huge balloon arches and pillars.

So worth the money if you have a large number of balloons to fill. Yearly we provide a balloon drop for graduating students. We fill two 22 foot balloon drops with approximately 1,600 balloons. In years past it took six women two days to fill them with mattress pumps. This year it took six women four hours. Don't even hesitate. Just buy it.

Good pump for balloon decor.

Pump works great for rounds. It takes a little more effort for 260's. The inflation nozzles work simultaneously rather than independent. Would be nice if you could use one or the other.

Good quality

I use this inflator to do some decorations, and is really good and confortable to use. The only change was that the one arrived to me is color pink, I wanted the one that we see in the photo. But althought the color, it works excelent and has been done with a good quality of plastic, so I like it.
