I wish fewer people knew about these!

These go with the zman worms made to match these jig heads. They go well together. I have been noticing a lot of other people using them so they work. Sadly, the fish are getting used to them. A few things to keep in mind. First, when a fish takes these, let her take it and set the hook with a very gentle raise of the rod almost like using circle hooks. The hooks are crazy sharp but are also very thin. They are not designed to be ripped through a fish's mouth. Setting hard usually just takes it right out of the mouth. The other consideration is these are not weedless. Any thick algae or weeds will get ripped up by the hook. This makes it tough to feel a bite or just a salad being ripped from the bottom. The whole setup with the worm isn't heavy so it doesn't penetrate all weeds and can skim along the top but a weedless version, which they make, is needed for really weedy spots. In the right place with a rocky or fairly clear bottom these work great and are something many fish have not seen. Like I said, they are good enough that the secret is no longer a secret. That's a sure sign a product is good when everyone wants it!

work well but will corrode

These hook work good and seem to hold the z man baits well but your they are not stainless steel and they are thin so I find the elastec baits sometimes outlast the hooks due to corrosion that seem to set in fairly quick.

Works great for bass

I wanted to try a Ned rig as I've always been using the Senko worms. These work great and I've caught several bass with them.

You might want to use a good palomar knot with these

These work well with ZMan ned rig baits, but I have an issue with the eye outlet being coated in very smooth plastic. It seems to keep my "go to" improved cinch knot from staying solid. After losing a few of these to failed knots, I started using a palomar knot and leaving a slightly larger than normal tag in. That seemed to work.
