Exactly as the one I broke!

Ordered late into the Christmas season so didn’t use for very long but they seem to be exactly as the one I dropped & broke. I had that one for many Christmas seasons without any issues.

Perfect candlelight

Placed this in a window right after Thanksgiving. Turned it on and let the solar sensor take care of it. Lasted straight through the entire Christmas season with plenty of brightness and power left in the batteries. It has several settings: white bulb color, a yellowish glow color, stay on or flicker. Easy to set up and then it takes care of itself. Very happy with purchase.

Easy to set up. Very well made.

We bought these to replace a different brand. Issues with old ones: two batteries in each candle held in by screwing bulb on top. Cheap plastic won't hold and pops up. Candle goes out and then you have to wait till the next evening to re-sync. The construction on this unit is much beefier. Candles turn on and off by light sensor so all are in sync. Batteries are in base, so no issues with putting them in each candle. Overall much better than previous product.

White flame isn't really white and flickering options is poor

We purchased Carlon four candelabras from Plow and Hearth several years ago. Last year we wanted some additional sets but Plow and Hearth only had another brand which was incredible cheaply made and had an odd color of flame. This year decided to try this one; lucky I only purchase one versus the three I was planning on. I guess it is a nice feature to be able to have two color flames although I will never use the amber (its an odd color) and the white is not truly white like the Carlon. I like the dusk to dawn feature although a six or eight hour run time would be preferable. The main reason I rated this lower is that the flickering doesn't look at all like a flickering candle; the Carlon were much better in imitating flickering.

Love It! Though Overpriced

One star deducted because $24-$26 is way, way too much for this 3-tier candle, especially considering you then need 3 massive D sized batteries that don't come with it. These batteries aren't particularly cheap either, and aren't batteries I tend to have laying around the house. However...I love this! I have been happy with this candle. I especially love that you literally flip it upside down and back up again to change the color between amber or white glow. Neat feature! So you can have either glow that you want. It can flicker or be constant. It's quite bright and seen well from the road. It's a 'set it and forget it' type of 3-tier candle. It comes on at night and off in the daylight. Keep this in mind if it's going in a dark place to begin with. It's supposed to last 'all holiday season' though I can't attest to that yet. Bummer it takes 3 D size batteries, they are enormous and expensive. They do give it some needed weight on the windowsill though. It doesn't look as cheap as I thought it might, but I still think it's way overpriced. Regardless, I'd still probably give in and get it again.

Great window candles

Candles were shipped quickly look great. Have them in windows for the holidays. They look great with a traditional flickering mode. They turn on at dusk and off on dawn as stated. Great purchase.

Beautiful lights

I put this in our bay window at night it is on until morning. Just the right amount of light to look nice and keep a cozy feel to the room. I also like the feature of turning it upside down to change the color of the lights plus also be able to choose the flickering light, making it look like real candles.

Beautiful lights!!!!

These work beautifully!!! They respond better to natural light than indoor light, which makes sense, since they're really meant to go in a window. So, if you want to use them in the middle of a room somewhere, like a centerpiece of a table, they might not work so well. I first tested them out at my office, and the fluorescent lights weren't enough to turn them off, but as soon as I put them in a window with sunlight, they turned off. These really are a wonderful product, I got them for my grandmother in a nursing home. They can't plug many things into the wall, so battery operated is wonderful! And her range of motion is limited, so the fact they turn on and off themselves is even better!!! Plus, you can choose from so many settings in such a simple way! I kind of love turning it upside down to change from white to amber! it's such a fun thing! Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about these lights. I cannot wait to bring them to my grandmother!!!
