Easy to hold, good movement, does not stall

This is a great product, would like to battery to operate a bit longer, on a large SUV you may have to recharge battery or get a second battery to finish the job. The machine is easy to hold and operate, I had both corded and battery operated units in the past from different brands and sometimes the unit vibrates and get away from your hand when stretched far like when polishing the roof of the vehicle. This unit is far easier to operate while still having the same power as these older units. I would recommend getting some additional hoods since the unit only comes with two hoods and to get the best results you may need to change the hoods depending on the type of polish you use.

Cut the cord

I like the convenience of the cordless buffer and that it uses the same battery as other yard and garage tools I have. However, it doesn’t rotate as fast as my WEN corded buffer.

Ease of Use

There are a trillion buffers out there but I wanted a reliable battery powered unit I could depend on. When I saw the Worx model I jumped on it since I've had such great luck with their products - I was not disappointed, it works well, battery life is great and I know from experience that the company will stad behind it should something go wrong. I recommmend it.

Good for applying wax, not for removing it

This Worx polishing machine is good for applying wax/polish but it's not that great for removing the wax/polish, even when applying light amounts of wax/polish on car surfaces.

good value and excellent customer service

my prior orbital buffer wasn't a wireless one and was just a bit cumbersome to use when polishing my car. i canvassed around on amazon prior to buying the worx and some of the alternatives i saw had smaller pads (albeit cheaper in price). i also liked having the flexibility of being able to use the battery for their other products (an option that wasn't available with the other offerings). the original battery that came with the unit only lasted for about 15 mins tops so i contacted worx to confirm if i received a defective battery pack. they then quickly sent me another battery free of charge so kudos to their customer service dept. it definitely cuts the time that i need to spend outside to keep my car polished and protected (vis doing everything by hand. I use the worx as an applicator and still polish it by hand. the results are definitely an improvement since i've used the buffer).

The batteries last

I have the Worx 20v string trimmer. Uses the same batteries. By the time I got about half way through waxing my truck I was ready for a break but the stock battery was still going. Stuck it on the charger while I had a beer break. It finished my Tacoma. Glad I bought it. I plan to get an extra buffing pad. I just shampooed the one I got. Cleans up great.

Use only spray wax

It’s light weight, portable, and usable for small vehicles with a spray wax. If you use a bottle wax you have to apply an extremely light coat so thin you almost can’t see it. This doesn’t have the power or torque to properly buff and wax using paste or liquid wax. The buffing head is glued on and tends to rip when putting on or taking off the cloth covers. Only use this for light maintenance with a spray wax and it should work fine.

Handy, easy to use

The cordless feature makes this so easy to use without a tail following you around your project. We used it to polish a boat deck and would normally need to clean up the scuff marks left behind by the black power cord. The battery lasted through the project, we are looking for the next project to use it on. We are very happy.

Charger for 120v input only.

Item works. But be aware. This is sold on Singapore web store, but the charger only works for 120v. Singapore uses 240v input. I had to purchase a separate charger. Seller did not list that charger only works with 120v input. And returning this item, I had to pay for the shipping chargers back, and only reimbursed sg30 for shipping.????
