Fixed DC error

We installed this mid-May and it fixed the Samsung washer DC error. It has been successful for the last 6 weeks. Used an on-line video to change the rods ourselves - relatively easy for 2 people.

Was going to call in a repair tech for $140 to just look at my Samsung washer. A few YouTube videos later, ordered these. Unbalanced load (DC) error gone! Great purchase, easy to install, slam dunk!

Takes less than 30 minutes to change out.

Perfect fit. Easy to replace and saved money doing it myself. My only recommendation is to replace all four at once to avoid future issues. I have the same philosophy with car tires.

Fair Price and VERY VERY easy to install

So far seems to be working fine - Was VERY VERY easy to install. I will update this review after 6 Months...As THAT will be the true test if this is a good product or not.

Cheaper then a new washer

Had a 10 year old Samsung washer that was giving an error every spin cycle, and canceling the cycle completely with soaking wet clothes. It was the first problem ever with this washer. Bought 4 of these and replaced them in about 20 minutes after figuring out how to get the top off of the washer. Worked well for a couple weeks now.

I use these 2 suspension rod for my samsung washer that created spinning error at the end of the cycle even though I did balanced the clothes manually, a headache indeed and Im right which of the 4 are the culprit...problem solved

Short answer: My Samsung top loading washer works fine after the four new suspension rods were installed. Long answer: My samsung washer would randomly repeating the rinse / wash cycle (caused by unbalanced loads). A quick web search led me to two possibilities. I was not sure if my problem was the suspension rods or the clutch. I decided to go with the cheaper option first, the suspension rods. As suggested on a few web sites, I replaced all four suspension rods. The WEN Handyman Q-W0004 Washer Suspension Support Rods were the cheaper of the many options. The delivery was fairly prompt. I followed a web video on how to change the rods.... It was somewhat easy; best with two people. Only hang-up was getting the washer top off (i.e. recell repair...and that was another web video). The issue was with the right rear suspension rod, it was slightly bent. It's been two or so weeks since I replaced the rods... the washing machine seems to be working fine.... I recommend the vendor.

Problem Solved

Our Samsung top loader washing machine ..Regardless of a full load , partial load , or just a few things to wash.. the tub would vibrate and strike the inner washer housing and eventually shut down showing a DC code on the machine.. I had googled and read other reviews saying that "replacing the suspension rods solved the problem".. i removed the suspension rods and inspected them and could find not broken springs .. The rods appeared normal . I even used a luggage weigh scaled to check the compressed spring values and could not islolate this as being a problem.. However with the high cost of a service call I opted to replace the 4 S Rods .. The hole remove and install is easy , took 10 minutes.. You do not need to disconnect anything water or electric.. simply remove the washer top have someone lift the tub (its not heavy ) and use a flashlight , unclip the rods and replace with new ones.. The washer has been working like NEW FOR 2 WEEKS after replaceing the S Rods.. Do not replace one rod replace all 4 .. as they all must be of the same compression strength..
