Functional but good luck on following the instructions

Added this to my HO modular layout. The well wasn't perfectly rounded. Had to use a dremel to grind it out some. WORST instructions I've ever seen and seen some sorry ones for sure!

Power to bridge rail is spotty with the Walther's setup

Overall the turntable is easy to build and install. The reason I bought this one was to replace one I had tried to build earlier. Problem is getting constant power to the bridge rails. (others have also complained of this issue) On Youtube I found Ray Boebel (Boeville and Newton railroad). He was working with using roller bearings to correct this problem. It seem to be working for me,

Its as bad as the other reviews say

Instructions are terrible but if you are patient you can figure it out. The colors they picked for the molded pieces is terrible but paint will fix that. The main problem comes if you choose to motorize it. The driven gear is off center so it skips over on the drive gear at one point and binds up at 180 degrees from that point. The tub is also out of round. When the carriage turns, it drags against the wall at two points and has a noticeable gap at the others. After extensive sanding and tweaking I got it to work but am confident it will need the motor adjusted again after some use. Very disappointed , I thought Walthers was a better brand.

To many , Issues not worth the price

Very poor instructions , No stencil for making hole. The bridge part of the kit fits the pit to tight. The pit and the bridge required a lot of sanding to spin freely. If this is not corrected the main plastic turn cog will fall out of place. The large Plastic Gog is to flimsy and tends to cause problems. The 4 plastic Roller wheels on the ends of the bridge are poorly molded and inadequate to free roll. They tend to jam a lot or pop out of their trucks. The optional motor accessory is mounted only to 2 very small screw pegs which cause the motor to eventually loosen and wobble out of place in operation. It should have had 4 pegs. The contact whisker set up for giving power to the bridge track is to problematic and the small plastic support for it is way to fragile. For the price tag for this table it should have had better functioning metal parts instead of the plastic molded one. It will work but requires a lot of builder modification that the kit was not designed for.

fedeltà al reale e fluidità di movimento

il modello è ben rifinito e di semplice concezione. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è molto buono. Unico appunto riguarda la mancanza del motorino per il movimento, non incluso nella confezione ma acquistabile separatamente: (Walthers Inc. Motorizing kit DC motore e cambio per ponte girevole, pompe per olio, giradischi e altri kit). Ordinato il 26 gennaio arriverà dal 14 al 23 febbraio.

Alles in allem so wie ich es erwartet habe, nicht mehr aber eben auch nicht weniger, für den der so etwas sucht - klare Weiterempfehlung.
