Adorable

Bought used as the price was way too high on new. I agree the battery was hard to fit in, but it does take one AA for the clock system. The lights were very bright. You turn on light by pull string one, twice for flashing yellow and three for off. Very light weight plastic and glass. Perfect gift, these clocks really look outstanding on the wall. Mine had a couple broken zip ties holding one light and some sticky glue on the clock glass. Super easy to fix. Under the waffle house face was another plain clock face so that was neat.

Looks great. Built not so great

In all fairness the clock looks amazing but we’re only giving it 3 stars because 1- the battery compartment is really flimsy and not mounted well, the battery is very hard to get in and you could easily damage the unit if not really careful and 2- the clock was a full 180 degrees off on the clock hands. We had to disassemble most of it to adjust the hands back to the correct orientation. That all being said the clock really does look great and the ring lights really add to it.

Great clock

I bought this as a Christmas present. The clock I was sent was a dodge clock in a similar style. But I contacted the seller and sent it back and they paid for 1 day shipping on the right clock. The clock looks great and shines bright.

Poor build quality

Received the clock as promised but it had a loose part inside that was rattling. When I tested it the inner neon light failed. I opened the back to see if it was a loose wire and upon further inspection, the ‘heat shrink’ wasn’t even shrunk to it and was loose. The loose part was a screw and base that had broken off and the clock face was loose. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt that it was damaged in shipping, BUT the heat shrink not being finished and loose was just poor manufacturing and frankly a fire hazard. I hope this was a unique situation. Returned it to Amazon and got a refund.

Wrong product for a birthday surprise gift !

Way to screw up a surprise birthday gift!! Ordered a Waffle House checker board clock and received a Chevrolet clock !! The label on the outside states Waffle House clock but that's NOT what I received !!
